Any west coasters give us a update.

Forecast calls for steady rain this afternoon, 10-15 mph winds.

The field was bad when KC came to town 2 weeks ago in the rain.Raiders cranked up the running game and total went way under.

I see the same happening here. 1st half will be ball control, field position, don't make the first mistake, type of football. Both teams will try to get Martin and Gardner established.

Love Pennington but have to remember that he is basically a rookie QB on the road in first playoff game. Historically this has not been a good betting scenario. Last two impressive wins were both at home, against two pretenders. This is a very tough spot for Chad.

On other side of ball you have Gannon, Rice, Brown, and Gardner, all playoff tested.

Nationa Weather just reported 70% for light rain turning heaveier late in the day. Wind in the 15 to 20 range. Sounds like light rain to start with not a lot of high wind.

Currently foggy, cloudy and a little sun. Go figure. Forecast still calls for rain today and tonight. Radar shows some shower activity north of the bay area. Will update again during SF/TB halftime.

Still no rain and only light wind. Forcast now chance of rain today with rain likely tonight. Looks like possibly no rain or appreciable wind for the game. Field will likely be damp though due to fog and high relative humidity.

I am old so my memory isn't so good. But didn't the Raiders play a game within the last month is the rain and mud and totally dominate the game? Of course, this could have been years ago for all the good my memory is, but.....

That was in a downpour against the Chiefs and they did totally dominate the game in all aspects. They brought out the running game and ran the ball all day long. Granted that was against the 32 defense as they are called here in KC. Game ended 24-0.
