Mickey Spagnola, reporter for the Dallas Cowboys, has reported that it is raining in Mexico City this morning. He also reports that there is a tarp on the field and noted that Cowboys officials say the field is in good condition. Don't know yet whether rain is forcast for tonite. Cowboys officials plan on starting runningback Emmitt Smith. QB Quincy Carter and the rest of the first-team are supposed to play for the entire first half. Cowboy reps also say that the field should hold up for 2 to 3 quarters before the field starts to deteriorate. Don't know what the plan is for the Raiders.
