I live in Mt. Prospect, which is right next to Arlington Heights so I'm about 5 miles from the track. A steady drizzle this morning; nothing hard but steady. They are calling for no rain tomorrow so the main track will probably be fast but it is possible it could be listed as good if the drizzle continues today. I do believe the turf will be something other than "firm", as I expect the turf to be labeled "good" or possibly "yielding". That should help the Euro horses, except for Banks Hill who is a likely scratch if the turf isn't firm.

The main track for Friday's card was listed as "sloppy" and the turf was "yielding". Without much rain expected, its possible the main trk could be fast tomorrow but I'm kind of expecting it to be labeled "good". I doubt there will be much change in the turf condition. Probably will stay yldng but could upgrade to good. I doubt it will be firm. It never goes from yldng to firm in one day. The horses I see affected most positively are: Storm Flag Flying, Ruby's Reception, all the European milers, Gossamer, Turtle Bow, WHywhywhy, Golan, High Chapparal, Evening Attire and Medaglio D'Oro. Those that figure to be hurt are: Good journey, Aldebaran, Touch of the Blues, Nuclear Debate, Kona Gold, Swept Overboard, Islington, Banks Hill, the 3 European Juveniles, With Anticipation and Hawk Wing.
