Today's Plays:
New Orleans ML (-150) - This team will surprise some people this year. They have a nice starting lineup, led by superstar Chris Paul. I really like the Jerryd Bayless signing and think this will benefit the Hornets as the season goes on. New Orleans by 6-10 points tonight!
Houston ML (+135) - I really like what I saw with the Houston Rockets last night. By years end, the Rockets will be a very strong Western Conference team. They played the Lakers to the wire last night and although it is an early season back-to-back, the Rockets have great value against a below average Golden State team. My numbers have Houston winning this game by 5-9 points.
Portland ML (-150) - Portland got the win last night with a huge 4th quarter but didn't play great basketball. They are better than the Suns and were losing virtually the entire game. I look for them to come out hungry tonight and try to beat another team who they are better than, the LA Clippers. What I did like was that Brandon Roy seemed healthy and was back to his old self. I have Portland winning this game by 8-12 points.
