Why????-----------Nets road record this year has not been great but they are playing the best basketball right now--Better than the Spurs. They have not let down any games. Spurs have let down. Nets have been strong this whole playoffs and have gelled at the right time. Believe me playing good and feeling good is huge in hoops. I know i have not been around like others in this forum and see a lot of people on Spurs, but trust me the nets are ready. Jason Kidd will show why he is unstoppable right now--i can see his desire on the court--It really looks like he wants to win more than anyone else on the court. Tony Parker is about to get ate up. Kidd can rebound, score,pass---he really is doing it all. Not to mention Kenyon Martin--he is the 2nd most determined person on the court. The altheltic Nets are going to give DUncan and company problems scoring inside. Nets will alter and change shots. Traditionally in the Nba--the layoff is supposed to hurt the Nets--but the Nets are ready believe. This play is not based off any line movements--just being a former college hoops player and watching every game of the playoffs. I know a hot team when i see one. Others could argue that Spurs are hot too--yes they are, they are in the finals. The beat the world champions without Fox and a hurt Robert Horry--They beat Dallas without Dirk---and Phoenix gave them all they can handle. The nets better than these teams right now. Maybe not earlier in the year but right now they win it- this is Kidd 's year. Nets will bring the energy tonight. nets have the firepower off the bench to contain duncan--Do not forget about Mutumbo--we will see him in this series--they have an array of big men of the bench.-- Ginolbli looks tenative now and being in the finals--may be more tenative. Parker--claxton--kerr---these guys are all defensive liabilties--Kidd will punish these 3---Parker has been scoring yes--but kidd defense right now is Gary patyon like--he has really impressed me at the defensive end.. Stopped Paul Pierce in his building to get the sweep. Pierce usually goes to the hole in crunch time--not against Kidd--He took Jumper after jumper in their last Ot game with Boston--Can Any of Spurs guards score???--I think this will be the difference.
