Most of my bets are when one of the elite teams of the NBA are playing one of the worst few teams, and the favorite is at HOME , i play the favorite.
I followed this last year, and though i dont have the numbers here ..it was very profitable.
The theory basically is that when you have two such mismatched teams , the elite team (when playing at home) will usually jump out to a quickstart and control the tempo. Over the long haul of the game , you always have backdoor covers (as these games are usually -8 or more) , and no one is very concerned about if they win by ten or eight. But they will usually come out strong to take control of the game.
MasterTX also has some good stats on FQ in general.
I also post other plays, based on FQ stats , quicker teams etc etc

Utah as an away dog of 6.5 or less, 3-10 in the 1Q
Miami as an away dog of 9 or less, 2-11 in the 1Q
Chcago as a home favorite (PK now), 5-1 in 1Q

Knicks have finished FQ ahead a total of one time in last nine.
Blue Jay, you picked my biggest night so far to coattail. So lets hope this doesnt turn out to be an expensive proposition.
