My par bit the dust last night. Mia still can't score and Odom getting hurt in the 1st qt didn't help.

Here's a little tidbit that you might consider before you play Minn or Sac tonight. Historically (that means a very long time), in the month of Oct, double digit dogs have covered around 85% of the time. If you like going against those odds then jump right in.

Right now I am pretty sure I will be on Chi, NO u and am looking real close at NY u. Will stick my neck out and say the first game or the last game tonight will go over. Back with my plays in a while.

I like the first game to go over and the last game to go under tonight. Like your NY play. Staying off the Chicago play, alot of players seem to be on them.

Thanks

joe,
just a quick question:
are you proposing that IF 1st game goes over last game goes under and vice versa?

or are they not correlated?

It was a high per centage play last year. Also, the third game goes like the first. Now that I've posted that, it will probably change.

A think a pretty good ML play tonight might be Ind to win. How's this for scheduling. Det fires Carlisle, Bird hires Carlisle, Det has to play Ind on opening night. Great fodder for the announcers and the closer the game the better.

The Chi game is a total mis-match tonight. Pippen back and the young players are a year older and should be a lot smarter. Stackhouse is out and Arenas will have to carry the load. Pippen will start but I thinks that is mostly for show and leadership. This Chi team looked pretty good at the end of last year and should be even better now. Home team, first game of the year, a win sells more tickets and 5 to 6 don't look that big.

Time first, home city second. Chi bulls will come before Cle if they start at the same time. I don't know why some list them in a different order.

Going with

Chi - 5'
Cle + 11'

GS comes after Sac because they were the San Francisco Warriors first and that comes after Sac. Now, why New York is before Det, Minn, and New Orleans is beyond me.

Hey, sorry there GSP, but this ranks up there with the most idiotic thread I have ever seen here. And there is tons of competition. The first game, third game, looking at who comes first alphabetically? Are you people insane, actually asking sincere questions about this 'method'? Seriously. For Christs sake, I thought I had seen every last ridiculous 'angle', but this one takes the cake.

Never take sides .. . but kosar .. . joe's angles and what he contributes far outweigh whatever u may think is a ridiculous angle.

Not to say that I am following this angle since I cannot understand what exactly it is (have not read the thread completely) but its a free country .. people can come up with any angle they want . . if it works .. why ridicule ?????

are ya Questioning the IQ level of other people :nono:

Something I learnt from Captain Kirk

If U dont have ANYTHING NICE to say about/to ANYONE .. DONT SAY IT . .. .

Good luck pal . ..

kosar, maybe I'm mistaking you for someone else, but it seems most of your posts here consist of antagonizing others. Any angle is more useful than that.

Hey Kosar...if GSP made his picks by whether or not his turds floated or sank, it would be a bigger contribution than I have ever seen you make. Here's an idea:

STFU!

Good luck GSP,

Howie

Jeff,

Unfortunately, i'm sure that a lot of people agree with you. Even if the angle is 'traditionally, the first and third games of the night go over, but if there is any sort of alphabetical anomolies, then just use your best judgment'.

Do you find anything odd about that angle, Jeff? Do find it to be an angle that is obviously totally and completely random and that maybe some of the tons of lurkers and seldom posters might just treat it with some merit?
