Kansas City area for who knows how long....
damn! second freaking day I typed up all this stuff and idiot computer here at library crashed and lost it as I was finishing.

not gonna recreate it all today. Sorry.

Chicago----Andersson. Thibault rarely starts on back to back nights, but could see him......Chi playing 3rd in 4, last two back to back on road (tho didn't travel far), teams have won 10% in this situation this season, going 2-16-2....Chi 1-3 on 0 days rest, but ol' Fluery's return to the Garden should energize them.
Chi under in non-conf games has hit 8-2 this season, 30-21 last three, and 89-60 since '96.

NYR---Blackburn. 3.98 gga last 7. Richter out for at least two weeks more. Rangers for once in long time the rested team tonight facing a tired one.

LA--Potvin? Could see Storr as Potvin doesn't do to many on back to back nights, but this is an important game.

Dallas---Turco. His gga dropped from 1.97 in oct to 1.41 this month.

Carolina---Irbe. 0-3 last 3 starts, but team did play 4 games in 5 days, in four different cities. Now rested.....Since '99 these teams have tied in 4 of 6 meetings (and each winning on road).

Edmn--Salo. 14 games of Nov, he's got 1.27 gga, and under has hit 9-2-3....He's 3-7-2 vs Caro, 2.65 gga, .896 pct, one shutout.

ATL---Dafoe. He's 2-2-0-2 this season, 4.12 gga, .855 pct. Over has hit 6-3. But team did do good defense, for once, in last game.....ATL has never defeated Phx (0-6) , or any of the teams on this trip for that matter.

Phx--Boucher. over hits 7-2 in his home starts. Phx 0-4-4-1 last 9, but played well last game and confidence up a bit.

Colo---Roy. He's 24-10-2 vs Vanc. Colo bad 24th in PP, 29th in PK. Vanc native Sakic gave lots of tickets to parents, friends, etc as the tries for milestone 500 goal tonight.

Van--Cloutier. 11-1-0 in Nov so far, 2.15 gga.

WA--Carpentier "expected" say newspapers. He's 2-2 this season, 2.97 gga, .908 pct. over hit 2-2 in his starts. WA 3-9-2 last 14 road starts.
Team thinking defense sez paper here:

"Washington has yet to establish itself as a complete team under rookie coach Bruce Cassidy and is playing under a shadow cast by owner Ted Leonsis, who has vowed to make major changes if the club does not rapidly improve its work ethic and results......"

"Washington, which has a 5-9-2 road record, aspires to get back to the style of play utilized in last Tuesday's 4-1 victory at Pittsburgh. The Caps played a patient defensive game, protected their zone and feasted on the frustration and turnovers of their opponent. "

Anaheim---Giguere. Kariya had flu and didn't practice, but expected to play tonight.....team is 2-0-2 at home since Oates returned....WA worst in league faceoff pct, Anahiem the best.

good luck to everyone!!
