Not bad of a day. I WON more Than I lost so that can't be too bad. Went 7-5 Record is not at my standered yet would like to be at least 15-20 games over the Loss Mark. Am waiting for a Good day of taking all games, I just can't seem to nail it yet. Everyone thank the @sstros and the Pirates for their wonderful performance against Phenominal Teams.

Boston(5-3) @ Blue Jays(4-3)
(L) Casey Fossum(1-0, 5.50ERA) vs. (R) Tanyon Sturtze (1-0,1.50ERA)
Weather: DOME STADIUM
Boston Lost 1 game to Orioles and D'Rays. Jays are much tougher than the two combined when on their game. No reason Jays can't sweep after humilating a series opener to the yankees. They have the streak, Bosox don't look that great. Riding the streak until I lose.
Prediction: Boston 5, Blue Jays 6 score means nothing but was 1 point off yesteday had Bosox at 5 they scored 4.
Play: Jays +1.5
Orioles(2-5) vs D'Rays(3-5)
(R) Rick Helling (0-1, 4.50ERA) vs. (L) Nick Bierbrodt (0-1,15.75ERA)
Weather: DOME STADIUM
Helling gets the win here. Bierbrodt suffered a two gun shot wound last season, both bullets past through his chest and settled in his liver they ramain there. OUCH! Gotta go against this guy, maybe a comeback kid later on but not tonight against Baltimore, his ERA will drop due to the highness or it's off to Triple A for him. If Tampa wins it won't be by much, but w/ both pitchers haveing a loss. I'll take Helling for the Victory.
Prediction: Orioles 5, D'Rays 4
Play: O's ML
Oakland(6-1) @ Texas(2-5)
(L) Mark Mulder (0-0, 6.50ERA ) vs. (R) Ismael Valdes (1-0, 4.09ERA)
Weather: Clear. Winds blowing out to right field at 10-20 m.p.h. Game-time temperature: Around 60.
Mulder had a No decision in last outing. He is supposed to win the Cy Young this acording to "Expert Anylisis guys" Well I'll take the wager then cause Texas just doesn't seem like they are clicking AGAIN. ML just a little to high for me for this game considering opening home series, I wish I had the money line last night, and probably so does everyone else who had Oakland winnning by SL. I'm gonna stay w/ the SL and hope Oakland does it at least 1 of 3.
Prediction: Oakland 6, Rangers 2
(L) Mark Mulder (0-0, 6.50ERA) vs. (R) Ismael Valdes (1-0, 4.09ERA)
Play:Oakland -1.5
Twins(3-4) @ Yankees(6-1)
(R) Kyle Lohse (1-0, 0.00ER) vs. (R) Mike Mussina (1-0, 6.00ERA)
Weather: Mostly cloudy with a 60-percent chance of rain. Winds blowing in from left field at 20-30 m.p.h. Game-time temperature: Around 35.
It's pretty crappy outside here in N.Y. If you go outside, the rain stings your face from the cold. It's colder today than it was yesterday. I had the UNDER last night but Godzilla decided to show up and terrorize my wager. Yanks have gone over in I think every Game so far? They have to go under sometime, I'm gonna take UNDER again tonight considering it's colder. I am a firm believer in cold weather causes low scoring. I have won alot of $$ on it and I know last year I looked it up and it was something like 88%, I'd have to double check that figure though I don't remember the exact but it was high. I'll play every game w/ chance of rain, raining and winds, and temp below 40 as an UNDER always. This one too no matter how good yanks bats are.
Prediction: Twins 2, Yankees 5
Play:UNDER 8.5
KC(5-0) @ Detroit(0-6)
(L) Jeremy Affeldt (0-0, 3.18ERA) vs. (R) Jeremy Bonderman (0-1, 13.50)
Weather
artly cloudy. Winds blowing out to right field at 5-15 m.p.h. Game-time temperature: Around 40.
Played KC, sorry I'm late w/ this one. Bonderman does look decent but I am riding the streak of KC, no sense in turning over onto the Tigers now until they prove they can win. Would recommend staying away from This series unless you have been riding the KC streak. If your riding Detroits STOP!, wait till they play the Yankees, Oakland ECT. Then BET AGAINST THEM!
Prediction: KC 10 Detroit 2
Play: KC -1.5
Aneheim @ Seattle
(R) Kevin Appier (0-1, 15.75ERA) vs. (R) Joel Pineiro (0-0, 4.50)
Weather
artly cloudy with a 30-percent chance of rain. Winds blowing out to left field at 5-10 m.p.h. Game-time temperature: Around 55.
Aneheim doesn't look so great this year, they'll turn it around I'm sure, hopefully tonight. Have to take the veteran here due to the success he's had against seattle. 15-7 record has given up 65 runs in 185 innings. I'll take Aneheim tonight.
Prediction: Aneheim 4, Seattle 3
Play:Angels +1.5
Reds(2-4) @ Astros(4-1)
(L) Jimmy Anderson (0-1, 11.12ERA) vs. (R) Wade Miller (0-0, 13.50ERA)
Weather: Mostly clear. Winds blowing in from center field at 10-20 m.p.h. Game-time temperature: Around 65.
I really hope last night was just a night off for the Astros and they didn't really get shut down by the Reds. I'm gonna close my eyes and pretend last night never happened.
Prediction: Reds 3, Astros 8
Play: Astros 1.5
Mets(4-3) @ Florida(2-6)
(R) Steve Trachsel (0-1, 9.00ERA) vs. (R) A.J. Burnett (0-0, 0.00ERA)
Weather: Mostly cloudy with a 40-percent chance of rain. Winds blowing from right to left field at 5-15 m.p.h. Game-time temperature: Near 85.
Now I normally always bet the Mets UNDER, but in this one Mets looked pretty decent last night, and I'm actually starting to BELIEVE again. Forgive me I'm scared from 2000 loss to the Yankees. With Trachsel pitching and I don't why we keep him and get a three legged dog to replace him is beyond me. Marlins have hit Trachsel hard and Mets have hit Burnett hard. 1 of every 3 games has OVER so far. Cubs 1st game, Spos third game, gonna guess 2nd game tonight w/ Florida..
Prediction: Mets 7, Marlins 5
Play: OVER 8.5
Cardinals(3-2) vs Rockies(4-2)
(R) B. Tomko (0-0, 0.00ERA) vs. (R) Nelson Cruz (1-0, 3.60ERA)
Weather: Mostly clear. Winds blowing out to center field at 5-10 m.p.h. Game-time temperature: Around 65.
Like the cards again tonight. Outstanding numbers against Colorado, however both pitchers have had their fair share to deal with against both teams. Cards win, but doesn't cover, I think we see extra innings again.
Prediction: Cards 10, Rockies 9
Play: Colorado +1.5
Atlanta(3-5) @ Phillies(4-3)
(R) Greg Maddux (0-2, 11.00ERA) vs. (R) Vicente Padilla (0-1, 4.50ERA)
Weather: Cloudy with a 60-percent chance of rain. Winds blowing in from center field at 15-25 m.p.h. Game-time temperature: Near 40.
Prediction: Braves 5, Phillies 6
Play: Braves +1.5 High Chalk 1st Time playing this one. Maddux either wins or holds it close. The bug has to be out of @$$ by now, as a Dog I'll take him, favored I won't.
2ND Play: UNDER 8.0
Padres(4-5) @ Giants(7-1)
Dennis Tankersley (0-0, 0.00ERA) vs. (R) Ryan Jensen (0-0, 8.44eERA)
Weather: Partly sunny. Winds blowing out to center field at 10-20 m.p.h. Game-time temperature: Near 60.
Brewers @ Pirates
(R) Todd Ritchie (0-0, 0.00ERA) vs. (R) Josh Fogg (1-0, 5.40ERA)
Weather: Mostly cloudy with a 30-percent chance of rain. Winds blowing from left to right field at 5-10 m.p.h. Game-time temperature: Around 45.
Again closing my eyes and pretending last night never happened! No reason to lose!
Prediction: Brews 5 Pirates 9
Play: Pirates -1.5
I am not able to write up a summary, cost me too much time yesterday in class. So I'll provide Pitchers, Weather, Records, prediction score, and Play. You can get other info at other places I'm sure.. Maybe some don't even read the info but I found if I have it all on 1 page I make a better decision. Good Luck on all your plays!
