Iona -7.5 over St Peter *****
Think this line should be double digits...Iona after losing the POY and Machado this year have reloaded...Momo who has a bad ankle sprain is playing pt gd.Armond is hitting 3's from all over.Bowman can score...and finally Dennis the transfer from Toledo woke up...he can score but until the Niagara game has done nothing..once he gets into this offense Iona will be on a run..they are 10th in the nation in scoring avg 83 pts a game..they can hit the 3,etc...they are shooooting 82% from the FT..2nd in the nation..Peter has trouble scoring..they have a few scorers that are all gds..they are scappy and hustle all over the place..but after beating Rutgers they have lost back to back vs BU and FDU.....tonites game is a match up problem for them...its hard to gd man/man Momo,Armond,etc...if they play zone Iona will shoot them out of the gym...neither team has much inside presence.
Iona has dominated in this series...Peter will have a small crowd at Yanelli Center tonite...Iona cannot play any defense..they just out score you.. Peter doesn't have enough to stay with them..plus Peter is the worst FT shooting team in the nation at 58%. Iona wins by 12-15 pts on the rd.
Loy Md -4.5 over Niagara **
Greyhounds have a little to much for the Purple to handle on the rd...Purple play 4 gds and 3 can score but Cormier and co are a little better right now...think Purple will take them when they get them at home...not tonite..would like them more but Etherly is out for Loy..
Florida -6.5 over FSU ****
Think Gators are to talented.FSU defense is bad..lost to So Bama and Mercer...Donovan will run it up if he can.. and I think he can.Those Gator gds are good.
