Trying my first NHL total of the season. Also trying a couple of IF's as there's a huge whack of games today and I like the first 5 or 6 calls on each ticket so whathey. Canadiens' Price gets his first NHL start and he was a big star in the minors last season so they're expecting good things from him; I'm expecting a strong effort in front of him so maybe this score stays down as the Habs don't have the most potent offense. Preseason expectations were low for the Predators (analysts predictions), but they've started out the season real strong, beating up both the Avs and the Stars, winning both games by 4 goals; Blues picked up Kariya but that's probably not enough to get them into the playoffs this season. Sens and Rangers both look good, but I'd have to risk more than twice what I'm going on the parlay to try each solo for the same payday, and without hitting both I'd be a loser anyway. Lightning look real good for their Wednesday game with Florida and, I figure, the champion Ducks must be pretty desperate for a victory after dropping their past 3 and 4 of their first 5 overall; playing the Bruins so a 2-goal victory is possible but they are still without key man Selanne and a few other pieces of their puzzle.
Need to hit something today after the shutout Friday.
