Boston has very few losses by 2 or more with Thomas in net...I expect defensive playoff-type
game at NJ (like Van/Calg last night). Esche should (better!) respond with strong game like last time he played vs NJ with this vote of confidence by coach. both teams missing important scoring threats, and some available ones are tired.
Buff's Miller has a chip on shoulder not chosen for olympics by ATL coach, so he could be
very sharp tonight. ATL had time to stew over how they need just 4 points for playoff spot
and winning means concentration and defence (like they showed in first game after Christmas
break).
trend last night seemed to be that teams on bubble concentrated and did well
(except the ever unpredictable Toro). So that means Boston and Anaheim should be strong
tonight. I did like Detroit -120, coming off loss and Legace to bounceback from worst outing,
but...
1-2 yesterday, lost a unit...shoulda bet MTL SU after I talked them up, but nooo--and dang
empty netter ruined the MTL/MN parlay...

parlays 20-38, +22.56 units
--since I've resumed posting (for 45 days). I was down like 12 units before
that......And, yes, I've always done better at parlays ---lotta practice due to a
history of sheer desperation and chalk betting!
all flat bet 1 unit risk per pic (for example, a +135 pic would pay 1.35 units,
a -135 pic would pay 0.74 units).
no SU chalk over -170
