2-0 yesterday. Round 3 breakdown looks like this
Lucky guesses 10
Dumb-ass plays 1
Unlucky guesses 3
Record 10 - 4
I believe I have 3 losses by a total of 3 points. Just too lazy to go back and check. Today is one of those days when, if I am wrong, I will look pretty dumb. Of course, the other side of that coin is how smart I will look if I am right. The truth is, I don't have a clue so I'll just make up something that sounds good.
I subscribe to the addage that the first team to get to 3 is the winner. Of course, they are just looking for a chance to prove me wrong. The rest of the games are for TV. Now here's the way I see it. Both games 6 are scheduled for Sun. Sac set the table last night, without a lot of help from the refs, by beating LA. They had every chance to fold but still came back and won. But the bottom line is that this series can be over on Fri in LA. Wouldn't it be great for Sac to win it at home in front of their fans. Now tonight, I expect (I've been mis-spelling that word for two weeks and knew it didn't look right) Bos to have every chance to win tonight unless. as I said early in this series, NJ goes to the finals as pay-back for all the years of fan support during losing seasons. Now, if Bos overcomes the odds and does win, Sac wins Fri and we only have one game Sun. If NJ wins tonight they finish it off Fri and we see game 6 in Sac.
Now with all that said, I expect NJ to win and I can't play a dog under 5 unless I think they will win outright like I did LA last night and lucked out with the cover. All that's left is the total. NJ will push the ball. The same logic that applied to game 4 applys here. I sat and watched foul shot after foul shot cost me the win in that one. I just hope Van Horn is hitting and this will be a easy cover. Again, I predict that the loser will have 93+
