a good night for most yesterday! I went 3-0-1, AND I did take that +250 tie I mentioned AND did go for NYR after I saw Sam all over it--he doen't like to many dogs of this size. I almost took the alt line at thegreek (NYR -1/ 2 +250), but chickened out.
and naturally yesterday was first day in 6 I didn't do a parlay---the one day I would have won any and all I put together!
but season is still young and lots of money to be made--not a good idea to rush it as MLB bettors like ddubs remind us..

over 4.5 NJ/Ana +105
Nash dominates Colum at home and off losses, should get win vs this bad road club. But Columbus getting more and more pissed at bad road record, will show more than usual guts tonight (same with Carolina). Under usually hits tho, and Denis under is 11-5 on road this season, Vokoun playing very well now too.
I'm looking for more wide open affair as Anaheim gunning for payback, and Brodeur/defense slips some more often that not on BB nights.
Oilers been an over machine this season, hitting 13-4-1. and seem to be scoring on road now. Detroit off a poor offensive effort, so that means scoring tonight! Five times this season Det scored just 1 or less, in next games they scored 5,5,3,5,4. And they at home now, to boot.
boy that Pitt +1/2 +201 looks real tempting! no Roenick, but Phila sure hasn't forgotten and still sore at last meeting when they blew a big lead.
almost took Dallas. MN will be rusty some, but will want to get back at D, and Lemaire will make sure not too rusty. Dallas playing much better of late. offense--defese esp. even Modano (-15 now!) had his first three point night of the season. He does well against MN. tie here in reg +225...and prop that Modano will have more points in game than Gaborik, -115, I like.
Dallas Heads up----(I'll be offline until monday) they are undefeated against their division this season (3-0-2) and 14-3 last season. Starting Sunday Dallas plays next 6 games vs division.
and Fri FL hits the road, and that usually means offense dries up as defense tightens. under in first game of road trip this season is 4-0-2. It was 6-0 end of last season (14-6 overall) throw out the dog days of mid winter (or what you call them in NHL?) and it's a very strong trend. esp with Luongo playing so well now and Buff being that opponent fri.

all flat bet 1 unit risk per pic (for example, a +135 pic would pay 1.35 units, a -135 pic would pay 0.74 units).
except one winning 2 unit pic (-102)

parlay pics: 3-7 (had mistake in this w/l record last few postings), -4.04
