22-29 [-13.98 units]

Denver U at New Orleans
New Orleans - 8

Denver is 0-7 on the road

New Orleans shot a dismal 31.5 percent from the field, including 3-of-11 from
three-point range in the recent loss to UL-Lafayette [gotta shoot better than that tonite]

Denver converted just 28.9 percent from the floor, including a paltry 5-of-19
from beyond the arc, while allowing Middle Tennessee to shoot at a 58.7 percent
clip in the loss to the Blue Raiders on Sunday
[road nets are not the place to find the stroke] hopefully:0corn

N.O. will turn its focus to a Denver (6-8, 2-1) squad that will present a unique challenge. The Pioneers, led by first-year head coach Joe Scott, run the ?Princeton offense,? which generally sees a team run the shot clock down to the last seconds and uses multiple screens and cuts.

UNO saw this style against Colorado and got a last-second 3-point play from Shaun Reynolds in a 67-65 win in Boulder.

The Privateers have had success against the Pioneers ? particularly at home. UNO is 16-4 all-time against Denver and 9-0 at home. The Privateers have won eight of the nine matchups in New Orleans by double figures.

Think Home Court Matters?: The Pioneers are shooting 51.7 percent from the field at home this season but just 40.9 percent on the road. Opponents, meanwhile, are shooting just 38.1 percent at Magness Arena but 51.4 percent on their home court. Likewise, Denver has hit 42.7 percent of its shots from three-point range at home, compared to 25.6 percent on the road. Opponents have nailed 47.0 percent from beyond the arc on their home floors, but just 29.6 percent in Denver.
