OK, came back down to earth after a huge run. I guess 43+units after 1 round ain't all that bad:p. I'm still a pretty lucky bastid:D. Back to the basics:D......

Gonna play NJ-1 when the line becomes available, also. Both totals are 4.5-105ish, but we have some red HOT goalies coming into these series. Will have to sleep on it:D

I always hated the ducks, but when they win you money they kind of grow on ya.:)


i think i'm going to pass on those 4.5 overs on the n.j./t.b. and dal/anh games. with broduer and giguere you never know.

Just going over my 2nd round notes, and found something that I highlighted all over it from last yr. It's an angle that I tried last yr with much success, thought I'd put it up for discussion, no good to anyone else if I keep it to myself:D.

Angle: Play only doggies in the 1st 2 games of round2 Stanley Cup Playoffs, and here're some statistical data backing it up......

If you look at the 16 series dating back to '98-'99 season:

1 series was swept (StL swept Dal in '01 as a DOG)
6 series went to game 7 (homers went 5-1)
6 series went to game 6
3 series went to game 5

Nothing jumping out at you yet??:D If over the last 4yr of round 2, you bet the visiting team in the 1st 2 games of each series, over the 32 games, you would have had a record of 16-16 SU. For simplicity sake, let's say the doggies avg @ ML+150. If you bet $100 per game, you'd be up $800. Hey profit is profit, right??:D

Another interesting thing to note is that although the roadies were 16-16 over the 4 yr span, only 4 lower seeds have won Round2, 12 higher seeds advanced to Conf Finals.

Do I recommend using this angle blindly?? Hell NO! But it's something to keep in mind when you're capping. So let's say NJ beats TB in Game1, I'd need to have some pretty overwhelming reasons for taking NJ in Game2, regardless of how badly NJ kicked TB's asses......and vice versa. If you pick your spots, it can be VERY profitable, though, with relatively low risk, since you're playing ML doggies.

Will put up some more CRAP after I go thru the rest of my notes. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!!!

I'll be flying to SD on Friday to go to my little brother's wedding, won't be back until Monday nite and NO pc access, so won't be around for 4 days, even though I'll still have some action with my locals thru phone. Hope everyone kicks ass this weekend. I'll be adding the plays as I play them today......

Will be on the Sens HUGE in Game1, throwing 5 units on them at least, but still waiting for the line on Ott-1.

Took me forever to do, but backing off of NJ now, they have lost their last two opening games in Round2 by identical scores of 0-1. And if you look at Khabibulin's numbers compared to Brodeur's, there's actually a HUGE advantage to the Bulin Wall (will try to post the details later today). Read cooz's thread on his take on the Devils/B's series, he's got some great points. TB is +260 for the series, yet +185 for this game. The math doesn't add up. Value is definitely on TB, IMHO, but will they win?:shrug: :D

might B homer talkin, but i think flyers can steal game 1 and then definetly lose game 2. sens off for over a week. flyers are tired, but with 2 dayz off should have it to give it their all, which would kill them for game 2.

if sens are gonna kill the flyers {seems whole board is on the sens} why is the series line so low ??

and where is Horns ?? why is he so quite ?? :grins:

more later, but watch out for that O ffense by the flyers. well balanced scoring in the 1st round. got lots o' goals from defense, and Rex is on fire.
