What the hell am I missing that the series line on Ottawa is actually dipping?? I know I've been touting them all playoffs, and anything could happen and I could end up eating chit after 4 games, but really I don't see a better team than Ottawa out there. There is only ONE way that NJ can beat Ott, and that is if Brodeur is on absolute top of his game, and he wasn't anywhere close to that in the TB and Bos series. He has yet to face a top offensive unit with speed and the puckhandling skills the Sens have to bust thru the neutral zone trap and get good scoring chances. And if the speed doesn't work, they have enough skills to connect on cross-ice passes to cut thru the zone. LaLime has been outstanding while playing much tougher opponents, IMHO, with a 1.65 GAA, 94 save%, and in all the 11 games he's allowed 2 goals or less to the opposition. Anyways, I said I'll be toning it down, but I couldn't help myself on this series play. VERY STRONG play on the Ottawa to win the series......

I'm probably the minority on this one, I just have a feeling this series is over tonite. A Minny/Ana Western Final?? Are you kidding me?? I don't think Bettman wants to see that anyways, with the small market Ottawa team already poised to win the cup. Only die hard hockey fans will stick around to watch a Minny/Ottawa Cup Finals (getting a little ahead of myself). I wouldn't be surprised to see Minny get some extra help from the refs to take it to game7 for some more revenues for the NHL, though. I just think Minny gave their chance away earlier in the series, and blew their wad last game in Vanc. Let's not forget how miserably Minny performed as a fav this season. Beware though, I'm going with my gut on this one, not much capping involved.
