Houston at ATLANTA

HOUSTON blew their lead yesterday after having MADDUX on the ropes, and I'm not sure how that will affect them. REYNOLDS is better outside of ENRON, and ATL is STILL below .500 (14-16) at home vs RH. HOUSTON is known to kill LH pitching, but with the ATL's bats heating up yesterday, I'm passing the side (although I won with +1.5 TUE) and taking the OVER. Glavine is due for a bad outing in my opinion.

St Louis at MONTREAL

This should be a bust out game for MONT bats as they kill LH starters. They'be been in a funk for quite awhile, but a young fresh LEFTY may be just what the DR ordered. ARMAS is a good young pitcher, and with BIG MAC out, I'll take the DOG at home!

CINCY's BP took ANOTHER beating late yesterday and I don't know if CINCY will get more than 1 run off SCHMIDT. He's been dominating lately... so if SF gets five or six, I should be safe EVEN if NEN relieves Jason in the ninth!

CLEVELAND is hitting, MINNY ain't, and COLON has been un-hittable on the road, while LOSHSE is LOUSY and throws batting practice lately...

Detroit at TEXAS

IF there EVER was a game that said pass, this is it. TWO first time starters, two bad and struggling teams! DET has won all SEVEN games between these two, but came in having lost six in a row. HP UMP REILLY favors HT and UNDER, and that may be deciding factor. Just checked lineups, all the main cast is in, so they aren't taking it easy on the kids! Like I said... PASS

Chicago at ANAHEIM

This series has been DOMINATED by the home team, going 9-1 in last ten over last two seasons. WASHBURN is for real, I've been saying that for awhile. He has BRASS ONES, no doubt about it anymore. He'll challenge guys inside and tight, and has good control. BUEHRLE has also been very effective, and is pitching well just the same. I just have to go with the HOT HALOS here. They are playing with such confidence, and with WASHBURN on the mound, it has to help spur them on even more as he is high strung. I am going with a DOUBLE play on ANGELS and a possible play on the UNDER. Want to wait and see how the lineups look.

Toronto at SEATTLE

Gotta pass on this one... I see reasons for both sides, reasons for both OVER and UNDER, and I don't need the ACTION!

CARPENTER is like 9-1 on the road, although TOR is 1-6 in his last seven, obviously mostly at home, and MOYER has been very good at home. HOWEVER, this series has been dominated by the visiting team, with visitors going 5-2 this year, and 7 of last 10 overall. As much as I'd like to play SEATTLE, I'll pass and root for JT and NICK to win on TORONTO!

Boston at OAKLAND

Another pass for me... too much conflicting stats for me. THE only thing I would suggest is MAYBE OAKLAND on the RUN-line as CASTILLO has been getting roughed up, and HUDSON is a stud. If he pitches well, BOS will not get many. HP UMP favors OVER, so if he's calling it tight, I trust HUDSON and his stuff more so than Castillo. OAKLAND bats are still going strong and shouldn't slow down against CASTILLO and his 11.42 ERA over his last 3.
