SAN FRANCISCO (Bumgarner) -135 over SAN DIEGO (Richard)
The Padres victory last night was only their 3rd in the past
11 days, and we expect them to resume their losing ways
in this one. So far in 2012 San Diego is only 4-16 against
left-handers (-$1235), averaging just 2.9 runs per game in
those contests. Madison Bumgarner is having a solid year
(+$285, 3.04 ERA in 11 starts) and he's backed up by a
Giants team that is now 12-5 vs. southpaws (+$850). SD
starter Clayton Richard is mediocre at best (-$495, 4.44
ERA) so we'll lay the price on the road favorite, as they
continue to stay close to LA in the NL West standings.
