Tough night last night. Put too many eggs in one basket on the Lakers...:nono:

It looks like there are some higher totals out there today so I'm having a tough time with a few of them. Only one play right now, another 1st half play. The Mavs have been very, very good to me (a little Sammy Sosa for ya) and I hope it continues tonight in the 1st half.

Going with Mavs -4.5 over Raptors 165/150


A few plays I'm considering but I think I might just wait until half time and try to do well from there. We shall see.

Like last night, it could have been a lot worse...I thank my lucky stars I'm not down 10 units the last two days. Still down about 5, but believe it or not, I can live with that.

Mavs -4.5 1st half LOSS -165 (gave the Mavs too much credit. Picked them in the wrong half)

Bulls/Celtics 1st half o 96 -165 (had a feeling I would regret this play. The Celtics scored about what I thought they would, but the Bulls mustered an impressive 34 points. WTF??? That's 2 nights in a row I get screwed because a team doesn't show up...can we say Lakers?...really just a bad call though.)

Clippers/Sixers o 93.5 2nd half WIN +200 (60 point 3rd quarter...yes 60 points and it almost didn't make it. 34 point 4th quarter and OT made it a winner)

Sonics/Hornets o 90 2nd half LOSS -220 (I'm getting hammered on the overs. You know the minute I start playing unders, the scoring will get out of hand. Gotta make an adjustment soon. I mixed it up more often last year with totals and had pretty decent success.)

Nets/Bucks o 190.5 WIN +200 Caught a break with some unconscious 3 point shooting by the Bucks. Also got lucky with a Net layup in the closing seconds to push this one over by a hair.)

Nothing has come easy the past 2 days. I could very easily be 0-12 instead of 4-8. Not that 4-8 is any better. I need to make an adjustment on my totals. Usually, totals are my strong suit but I have given teams much more credit in the scoring department this year. Gotta mix it up and look for the best plays again.

Tonight: 2-3 -150
