Army (-4) 2 units
over (57) 4 units. i don't normally like playing the service academies in bowl games because you get extra time to prepare for the option. however, mizzou is 125th in the country, giving up 229 yards/game on the ground. hard to imagine army won't rack up the yards. also, army is very good on 3rd down, converting 47.5%, which is 9th in the country. mizzou's defense is 113th, allowing conversions 44% of the time. on the other side of the ball, mizzou can put up some points. they averaged 39 points against non-sec defenses. and, no, i'm not even counting the 59 they put up on SEMO.

Looks solid, but Misery was the worst team in the country vs the run early in the season by a huge margin. Vols trashed them for way over 400 yards on the ground and almost 700 total. They made some adjustments and improved a lot as the season progressed after they fired their DC. Just making sure you take this into account as while I wouldn't advise taking Misery, I wouldn't fall in love with those stats either. Misery also has an awesome RB in Tyler Badie who is one of the best RB's in the country. Sure it's Misery, but this kid can freaking play and will be a decent NFL RB (not saying great, but he'll play).

thank you, sir. i really appreciate that. it's stuff like that that makes this such a great site. i try not to put TOO much emphasis on run stats when it comes to defending the service academies, because obviously most teams don't see much option, and that's different than the normal ground game. i'm going to stick with my bet, because i know any time i change my mind on a play, it always loses. as long as this goes over the total, i'll be happy.

Mizzou is also starting freshman QB but not because of injury or opt out. The coach think he is better. So maybe he can throw the rock?

I went Army ML -230? should have taken it sooner but didn?t realize Badie was out until yesterday. Army should roll as neither freshman QB is very good IMO either.
