Call me stubborn. I still think Florida has Final Four potential. Going to see what the Gators' odds are to reach the Final Four and to win the NCAA Tournament. Might put on unit on this team. The odds can't be more juicy than right now, with the team struggling. But I expect a wide-open NCAA Tourney this year. No dominant teams.

Jeez...if this wasn't a "system play" I would have been all over Michigan. I've been on them- mostly successfully the past month or so. Defense travels well, they don't foul often, and they keep the turnovers down. I would have put the number at Michigan -1.5.
But, the system has been good to me for a quarter-century, so I have to stay loyal to it!

Good question. I shouldn't be! LOL
A few (probably lame) reasons:
I like the BPI rather than the RPI. Florida's metrics are good. They have a bunch of good wins, barely lost to Duke and Clemson OOC. A few close losses lately, too. They pass my "eye test."
And I think the SEC is better and depper than people think.
But they are so inconsistent. Sometimes they struggle to score and they have some baffling losses (swept by UGA, loss to Loy-Chi)
It's now more of a "longshot" or "sleeper" team for me. Could be a tough out for a top seed in the 2nd round of the Tourney...if they make it that far!

Also, I get the feeling that Vegas still thinks highly of Florida. (The lines/odds are giving me that feeling)
