OAKLAND +145 Double Play
I really like this team and I'll be making a futures wager on them to win the World Series. It will be tough for them to get by several good teams in the American League, but if they make it I like their chances to beat any team from the National League. There will be great value on the A's to advance to the World Series because I believe the majority of the wagers will be on Boston, Houston, Cleveland or the Yankees.
In this series here in Houston, the A's have been +200, +180 and now +145. In my mind, that is a very nice return on this team. When the series started, I thought Oakland had a legitimate chance to win each of these games, regardless of who the starting pitchers are, so I see value in taking the A's in all three games. The A's lost game 1 but won last night at +180 and I'll take my chances with them again this afternoon. Besides, Oakland is 41-27 on the road and Houston is only 34-30 when playing at home this year.
