YTD 84-78 [+5.18]
Since AS Break 6-4 (+1.69)
Well Boys, gonna load up on a few for Wednesday, as we're heading out for a small road trip in the morning, and won't be back until late Thurs night, so this is will be my "fix" until Friday. Gonna hit a few golf courses and going to the dome to catch the Argo game. Oh, who's kidding who, it's not really about the golf or the CFL.....
:drinky: :drinky:
Stand back, cuz this could get ugly......
OAKLAND ATHLETICS (-139) It concerns me the A's were only able to put one run on the board in 14 innings against Doug Bush and the Blue Jay bullpen.....Oh, I miss my Blue Jays....Nope, I don't. I don't...........Anyway, I think Blackley could be what the doc ordered for an ailing offense, as he sports an ERA over 12 at home, and didn't look as though he could throw in the Puget Sound off the dock last start. Zito also showed signs of stepping it up last start and this could easily continue against this Mariner offense.
SAN DIEGO PADRES (-104) Let me get this straight. Jake Peavy or Kirk Reuter at basically the same price? That didn't take long........
Okay, this is where things start to go in a bit of a different direction.....
CINCINNATI REDS (+151) Tell me that performance Tuesday in Chicago didn't take the wind out of some sails in Wrigleyville? I will gladly take Paul Wilson at this price with the team playing better ball. I also like the fact the Reds are 13-5 in games started by Wilson, while the Cubs are only 8-11 in games started by Clement, mainly due to the fact that they do not like to score runs for this kid.
BALTIMORE ORIOLES (+225) I could probably sit here for hours and really couldn't come up with enough BS to make anyone here think this play could be a good idea. However, I like the fact that Pedro has struggled in two outings this year against Baltimore, the Boston bats have never seen the lefty Bedard, and should Pedro struggle, the Boston bullpen has been having trouble picking up the pieces lately.
Best of Luck for the next couple of days Boys!
