Have not posted much in Hockey. I think the streak ends tonight. Nashville played last night and and became the first team in 11 years to start 8-0. Line looks fishy at +141.

300 to win 423

See, I considered the same. . . but we're talking about Columbus here. . . any decent team in the league then I could see it but remember what kind of team you're putting your money on.

They have won one home game and one road game. Why is it only +141? Thats why its called gambling.

yeah one of those weird feelings Columbus will knock off someone good at home. I thought it perhaps might have been Det the other night but maybe it is indeed Nashville.

What do you mean only +141. +141 at home is a significant dog. The line isn't off at all and certainly not begging money on Nashville. . . we're talking about a lot of juice for a road favorite. Remember the Detroit/Columbus line? Started at -180. Do you really think the Nashville line should be just as high or higher? Its early in the season and no chance that Vegas is willing to give Nashville the same respect as the Red Wings. So -160 looks right on to me. No fishy line here. I only see lines of -200 or more on significant home favorites.

Just not sure what kind of line you were expecting

Gambling takes guts. I had a feeling and went with it. Back to football for me, I'll leave hockey to the experts
