wvu (ML) 3 units to win 4.8. purely a gut feeling. IF west virginia's defense comes to play, i love them to shut down kaaya. miami's offense should be a piece of cake after facing big 12 offenses all season.

utah (-5) 1 unit. feels like my first chalk in a while. don't love this game, but kyle whittingham is 9-1 in bowl games. here's the final record of each team that indiana beat this year:

so their best win is a 6-point home win against maryland. that is... hardly impressive.

k st (ML) 1 unit to win 1.6. let me start by saying this is not a vintage k st team under coach snyder. they commit more dumb penalties than any k st team i can remember. but trevor knight is back for a&m, so k st should roll. knight completed 52% of his passes this year. 52%. that's awful in this offense. they're going to need to rely on their ground game, and k st only gives up 113 rushing yards/game, which is 13th in the country.

thank you, sir. wvu was absolutely dominating that game until the one big play early in the 2nd quarter. then they stopped playing defense. even their dc admitted he "panicked" after that play and changed what he was doing. never mind the fact that miami's offense hadn't done jack shit before that one play. oh well.

k st can make up for that one.

thank you, sir. coach snyder has made me a nice chunk of change over the years. they have a lot of guys coming back next year. if he can actually instill some of his normal discipline and get them to cut out the stupid penalties, they could be very good next year.
