Pitt (-12) over G'Town
The panthers @ home coming off their first loss playing a Hoya team that has played a pretty soft schedule. G'Town looks to Bowman to provide big offensive numbers, if the panthers limit him they have a very good shot at blowing this team out of the water. Taft and Troutman have to body him up all night. Pitt plays well at home and G'town not the best road team. Krauser should be able to eat up young guard Wallace.

UConn (-9) over BC
Too much size for BC to handle. The eagles have Smith but Boone and Villanueva should be all over him with regards to rebounds. Yes BC handled Mass and the Minutemen beat UConn but BC just does not have the depth or size to stay with the Huskies. Not sure if the Eagles have anyone to guard Anderson or Gay.

Princeton (+17.5) over Duke
Slow paced tiger offense should help the tigers stay in this game. Cameron crazies will be in full effect and but Princeton likes the role of the underdog in the big games! Low post movement will be a problem for Duke the tiger big men set picks and rarely stand still.

So Ill (-2.5) over Louisiana-Lafayette
5-6 rajun Cajuns play well at home but So. Ill is a solid road team. Look for So. Ill to play better than their last contest where is was a low scoring ball game with Drake. So. Ill has to jump on them early. So. ill should try to out run this team.

Ill (-14.5) over Ohio St
the 2 loses for OSU came on the road. The defense of Ill should be a problem for ball handlers Fuss-Cheatham and Stockman. The buckeyes cannot afford to play zone defense because Ill have the shooters to break it. They also have the edge in low post talent and depth. Home court advantage and record will make Ill take OSU seriously which is bad news for the buckeyes.

Coat-tail
ECU (-3.5)

G. Wash (-17) over La Salle
Off a loss at home GW has some motivation. Add in the La Salle has played away for like 6 games in a row. travel might be getting to these guys but the Colonials should wake up tonight, the coach has been looking for things to motivate these kids and the loss might be just what the doctor order. A big test to see what type of team GW is going to be this year.

Cheers

Pitt is 5-0 SU vs Hoyas in ther epast 5 games. They are 4-1 ats.
Plus, Hoyas lyr were 5-18 ats.At home 2-9 and on the rd much better. They were 3-9.I loved Esherick. Why do they fire these guys. There graduation rate is excellant. It's those Jesuits...

Conn -BC
BC is a great away team going 13-4.They are 1-4 SU vs Huskies but 3-2 ats.BC is 24-9 ats on the rd the past 2 yrs.Thats amazing for a team that can't play defense and a coach who melts down under pressure.
And UConn was 33-6 lyr and 16-19 ats.But at home there 7-7.
BC defense is bad.And with no great gds I think they are in trouble.I'm not trying to change your pick.I like UConn too.But Vegas loves to pad those numbers.I have it at -7[ in my system].

Like SIU too.

Hoyas hit 9 3's in the 1st half and had a 19 pt lead.Pitt went on a late run to cut it to 5 at half. After losing to Bucknell expected more from Pitt :scared
