Season Posted Record 2-6 for -11.2 units :( :sadwave:

Alright, time to get going in the right direction. Couple good plays today, including this early one at 4 est:

The Ville -115 (@ Tennessee) for 2 units - The Cards have one of the most powerful offenses in the country. They should win this one tonight in what is likely to be a slugfest. Tennessee has a decent offense but lacks quality pitching. Given teh Vols played 4 games over the weeend (vs. the normal 3) and they played a game last night against WKU in which they had to use 5 pitchers, this bodes very well for Louisville. Louisville is very rested to not having played since Saturday.

Back with at least one more play in a bit.

I was right about that slugfest. 3-2 Vols after one inning.

One more game, this is a 6:00 est game:

Texas -180 (vs. Baylor) for 1 unit - #1 Texas plays host to #5 Baylor in a mid-week non-conference game. Yeah weird, but this game won?t have any impact on the Big XII standings. Baylor hasn?t done much offensively against the top squads they have faced. They have eeked out some wins to get to their 10-2 mark, but they won?t have enough tonight. They are throwing Junior Aaron Miller who has a 3.48 ERA in 10 1/3 IP. As I wrote a week ago, Miller is a normal outfielder who starts mid-week for Baylor. He was wild a bit last week but TCU couldn?t capitalize and Baylor won 2-1. Texas is off to a 12-1 start with their only blemish coming this past week at Stanford where they took 2 of 3. Texas will send out Freshman Austin Dicharry to the mound. Dicharry has a 1.74 ERA in 10 1/3 IP. Dicharry hasn?t faced good competition yet, but even if Baylor gets to him, Texas has an experienced and rested bullpen that will be ready. Only two relievers saw action this past weekend at Stanford, so there are plenty of arms ready to be called upon.

1-0 for +2 units today. Louisville wins 13-10 in 11 innings. A 3 run homer is the deciding measure in what definitely amounts to a slugfest. Like I stated, Louisville is a very good offensive club with a lot of power. They should motor through the Big East this year. Unfortunately, there typically aren't a lot of lines posted for Big East games. You will only get lines for games in which there is a ranked team or one of the typical "names" of college baseball (Oklahoma State, Florida State, etc.). Basically none of that on Louisville's slate besides Notre Dame. If they are on the board, they will be worth small bets when not too much above -110. Their pitching isn't great, but their offense will keep in almost every game. Enough rambling about them though.

Will likely be back on Friday with some others.
