Wednesday! LOTS OF GOALS !!!

Going with two favs tonight.. both are in need of a win to stay alive..

Leafs -150 - Leafs played better than the Flyers in Game 2 with more quality chances. Flyers still and will play basic hockey with a man in front of the net. This can work against the Flyers if the Leafs use their speed and get the odd man chance. We use the Flyer mentality when we play hockey since we have 2 big guys who like to cause shit in front of the net leaving little me to just throw it in front and let them put the garbage in... BUT.. When we play a team with speed this does not work well. All the Leafs have to do is get the puck and break away with the odd man advantage will Philly players skate back. LEAFS CAN DO IT and showed it in Game 2. Even still, I think the Leafs will need o score the 3 required goals to win this in regulation! Leafs PP has to improve. Apparently Sundin will be in between Roberts and Mogilny tonight and Domi has been moved up with Francis and Tucker. No Leafs will fall tonight!!! Leafs will need to empty the tanks and play hard and consistant and avoid the penality box! EVEN SO... Leafs will win (hopefully)

Avs -145 - Hard to go against SJ. They have been playing well but I just do not see the Avs getting swept. Blake is gone for this series and the rest of the playoffs (NO WAY AVS come back down 3-0 in this series)... Avs do have goal scorers and its only about time that Nobokov (sp?) lets some goals in. Avs should be able to win this game but, stranger things have happened

Just to recap...

Leafs dominated the score chart as I suspected and I think they will continue to do so. Seems like the Leafs are winning when its 5-5 hockey. Yes, Philly can score on the PP and will continue to do so but the Leafs are back baby!!! Seems like Belak was the right thing to do. I doubt Quinn will change a thing and keep Belak on Primeau. Refs were also great and didnt call anything till 1/2 way through the game. Some pentalities should have been called IE Mogilinys hit from behind on Markov but.. Oh well.. Leafs will continue to Roll on Friday and tie up the series! I see more breakaways and odd man rushs for the Leafs against this slow philly team which sends their forwards deep in front of the net and Philys suspect defense... NOOOOO PROBLEM!! GO LEAFS GO

Avs won as well. THANK GOD. I had no stats or crapping on that game other than I though Colorado would not get swept and they didnt. I think Colorado hit like 3-4 posts last night. I only watched the 2nd half of the game but.. it looked pretty boring. I do think Colorado can steal the next one in SJ. Only reason SJ didnt get smashed in the last two games has been the SJ goalie. He is playing much better than expected but good things always come to an end... Probably will make a small play on Colorado next game just because of what I see but.. we'll see when that time comes. I am not betting totals in this series anymore. I am 2-2 and have been on the over since game one but after two 1-0 games, I give up.. At Least my big plays are hitting!!!
