NL
Cubs @ Reds
Two teams going in opposite directions, would love to ride the cubbie bullet train, but all the prices I have are over a buck fity and I'm not giving runs to a home team even if they are pathetic, so I'll pass....
Florida @ Pitt
Two of the worst wednesday squads on the slate meet tonight...fish 3-26 on the road (wed)L29, and the bucs are 0-6, the last six hump days, but most people ignore the dailys so I will look for the meat in this one. I liked the fish but if Ritchie was ever going to step up it would be against the marlins...so the total is next...
I'll take a small chance with
Over 8.5 -120
The wind is blowing out to center, young behind the plate against the 8.5 as the O/U at 4-1, the fish against the 8.5 or less on the road in the last three years have the O/U at 38/15, and since '96 it is 102/60. The pirates at home vs. 8.5 or less in the last three years have the O/U at 24/10.
Milwaukee @ St. Louis
Although Benes is 0-3 at home vs. the brewers since '98, I think the cards get the cash here but the -160 is a bit pricy, but I will back the total here as well...
Benes is 5-0 in his last five home games, so he should thro well, and mother nature chips in as the wind is blowing in and behind the plate Craft against the 9.5 has the O/U at 10/16, and of course I have some trends....
Brewers 1-7 o/u last 8 road games
0-4 o/u last 4 games
Cards
0-3 o/u last 3 games
0-4 o/u @ home on Wednesday this season
Benes = 0/2 o/u last 2 home starts
0-2-1 o/u @ home vs Milwaukee since 98
The under is 14-7 in the Brewers last 21 played on the road.
The under is 7-3 in the Brewers last 10 overall.
In the last six meetings the O/U is 2/4
Under 9.5 Even money
and adding.....
Parlay
Under 9.5 (E) and St. Louis -160
