Ouch.

Yesterday: 4-7 -5.89

Overall 39-28 +31.71

Whitesox game really killed me yesterday. In addition to posted play, it killed an otherwise good parlay and reverse which could have salvaged an otherwise ugly day.

No crying over spilled milk. On with the game.....

Early leans:

Cle, Phil, Mil, Mon, KC/Det O, WS, Oak/Sea O, Possible Mets/Cubs hedge again....

Be back later

Eliminated Mil from early lean. Once again you might as well flip a coin (Would've won the coin flip last night, but not worth a wager)

EARLY GAMES:

2* Phil +15
(This is where we see what the Phillies are made of. I think this is a very evenly matched game with a slight edge to Phi. They are 5-1 at home versus lefties this year and to boot they are trying to avoid the sweep and preserve 1st place. I'll back em in this situation)

1* Phil O9
(I think both teams will grind out enough runs to go over in what should be a see/saw battle)

2* NYM +40
(Probably going against the grain, but have to back Reed at this price. Historically he has not been good at Wrigley - 0-3 5.01 ERA, however the Mets are in a must-win situation here. Hopefully they can capitalize on the walks Wood is known for early enough to give Reed a solid shot at his first win at Wrigley)

Be back with NY/CLE. Would appreciate others feeback on this game. My lean is Cle & U.

Cleveland/Yanks --

FWIW, I like the Under 9 (even)

Yanks and Cleveland are similar teams in several ways: neither have been scoring and both have weaknesses in their middle relief. But both CLE and NYY have good closers, so with two strong starters today who should go 7 or so, IMO the Under is the play here.

Wickman and Rocker each pitched a perfect inning in relief last night, Stanton and Rivera were rested and are ready for today's game.

Sabathia is 1-0, 2.25 ERA in L3, Mussina is 2-1, 2.78 L3.

The under is 8-3 in CLE's L10 on the road.
The under is 7-3 in Mussina's L10 starts.
The under is 6-1 in NY's L7.

Adding:

2* NYY -45
(I am going against my early lean to Cle and playing the Yanks. Sabathia's numbers, while impressive do not tell the whole story. He has won many games thanks to the Indians bats and the Yankees have shown they can hit him. I like them to take the rubber game today in this intense rivalry.)

2* NYY O9- +10
(Again going against my early lean. If Yanks can get 5 off Sabathia plus tiring BP, we get no worse then a push, less vig of course. I think they will)

GLTA this afternoon.
