ytd......49-43 (+13.14 units)
lost the stronger play on seattle under last night. made a few bucks back with houston, but overall, a disappointment.
for wednesday:
1.5 units.....cincinnati (+180) over st.louis
1.5 units.....seattle/cleveland under 10 (+105)
i know morris has amazing numbers at busch stadium and is tough as hell to beat, but the reds are just hitting the sh1t out of the ball lately and are dominating the cards. normally, i look at this kind of spot as one where the ace (morris) will take the ball and be a "stopper" in a losing streak, but i think cincy could take this one. graves has thrown two pretty good outings back to back. reds just a real confident team
a little stubborness on seattle under? maybe. but i think there is some value here on the under 10. the wind is probably blowing out, as reflected by the 10 over line, but theres a few reasons i think this one stays under. for starters, indians- save for one inning last night- havent hit the ball worth a damn vs seattle this year. and as far as their pitching goes, davis is one bad start away from getting sent to buffalo. it always seems like major league pitchers respond with a good outing when they start hearing whispers about demotion. plus, hes a groundball pitcher that (assuming he's "on") wont be overly affected by any wind. i dont blame anyone for passing this play if they see fit, because the wind is blowing out- however i think this one stays under regardless
