4 unit play determination, criteria it must meet:
Money line move in the right direction, team is off a Loss, trends favor one side I'm on, umpire behind the plate favors one side, with that all said there are a number of 4 unit plays, these have done nothing this season thus far, today they should go at least 3-1, we shall see! If not, I'm scrapping 4 units altogether.
ALL PLAYS rated 1 to 5 units, GOY & Game of Month plays 10 units each
[all plays are action unless pitchers are noted]
Wednesday, May 15
Over 9 SAN DIEGO/BALTIMORE
BALTIMORE -155 (2 units) O's are 40-21 L2 YR during day games, Pads 23-53 as RD of 125 to 155
PHILADELPHIA -160 (Hamels still a good May pitcher although he is 1-7 this year ATS, home field and Phils bats vs Kluber should produce runs)
Over 8 TEXAS/OAKLAND (Day game, ball will be jumping, Straily doesn't miss bats)
TEXAS -105
ATLANTA -105 (4 units) Huddy 7-0 SU w/1.33 ERA vs Zona, AZ 1-8 as a fav w/total of 8-8 1/2 runs)
MILWAUKEE +110 (4 units) Gallardo 14-1 L15 vs Bucs, Brewers over 70% covers vs Bucs, Brewers off a loss w/Gallardo next game, 8-1 L9
SEATTLE +105 (Line move, NYY -110 to Sea -110 back to NYY -110, Hughes vs Lefty bats may get lit)
MIAMI +165 (Leake overvalued in this one, he's -190 now and Bailey was only -160?, Sanabia at home better than on the road, Marlins get to Leake early for home win)
Under 7 BOSTON/TAMPA BAY (Two very good lefties in dog fight here, Lester off team L typically a 75% cover, Price velo down 3-4 MPH this year, BoSox when facing b2b lefites, 8-0 L8)
BOSTON +110 (4 units) (Read above)
ST LOUIS -1.5 +100 (5 units) (Miller only loss as a -200 fav, he's off a 1 hitter to leadoff hitter last game out, Marcum is not missing any bats and is off a surgery year, it takes time to come back as a pitcher, especially at his age, Cards bats light him up)
Over 8 1/2 KANSAS CITY/ANAHEIM
WASHINGTON +130 (2 units) Greinke off DL already? That type of injury requires healing/rest time, Nats bats should have Harper back in lineup today, if not, Zimm & Ramos have productive days, watch velo of Greinke early, he's usually 93-94, if he's 90-91, he's in trouble quickly
