Travis Hamonic (undisclosed) will not be able to dress for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals series versus the Washington Capitals.
The Isles will have to play Game 1 without their top shutdown defensemen Wednesday night as Hamonic will be unable to play. Hamonic missed the team?s final game of the year due to the undisclosed injury and there is no timetable for his return. Hamonic's assignment, once healthy, will most likely consist of shadowing Alex Ovechkin whenever he is on the ice. Calvin De Haan will continue to suit up in place of Hamonic. Apr 15 - 5:08 PM
