Kansas City area for who knows how long....
6 teamer, 1 unit bet pays 45:

Texas Rangers/Tampa Bay Rays Over 7? (-120)
Oakland Athletics -1? (-105)
Kansas City Royals/Toronto Blue Jays Under 8? (-120)
Baltimore Orioles -123
Minnesota Twins +109
Houston Astros -1? (-115)

Baltimore/Detroit 1:10 pm Gausman (Boyd -- Gausman been improving each outing this season, team won his last two. He is showing flashes again why he was a top prospect, but giving up plenty HR already this season, one big reason he's so inconsistent, but these are bats of the fearsome Tigers....Boyd been involved in 0-1 and 1-2 games, talk about hard luck loss via rotten run support! He pitched against Cleve and KC when both couldn't hit a beach ball. In 20 AB, present Orioles lineup have hit .450 off Boyd. But we read here although is velocity is down again at the start of the season, he's mixing up his pitches well.. In 58 AB, present Tigers lineup bat .121 off Gausman. ...so I'm on Orioles to bounce back and win this game... and on the under again.

Texas/Tampa Bay 1:10 pm Hamels (Faria -- Hamels been mostly ok so far, missing lots of bats, but too many HRs. His bad velocity has been getting better each outing tho.....Faria bounced back off that awful start, but still showed plenty inconsistencies and trouble with some pitches....I like TX, as bats been doing better of late, and the over, but too many question marks here for me to pull the trigger

Cincinnati/Milwaukee 1:40 pm Mahle (Davies -- Mahle last 2 starts been getting smacked with HR when going deep in the innings...Davies typical roller coaster to start the season, tho he should have his control back here after poor outing and with HP ump Jeff Kellogg...Reds finally off a pleasing win, i'm on Brewers, but Braun and Cain are out...

St. Louis/Chi. Cubs 2:20 pm Weaver (Lester -- Weaver had a fine season last year, but analysts said he needed to improve his offerings to keep this up, and we read here it looks like he has done that...Lester was down last season (gave up lotta HRs), and looking worse this season so far (4.05 FIP and 4.40 BB/9 with a 1.67 WHIP)...Weaver pitched in frigid conditions in his first starts this season, and he does not like that, but he was fine in them...I'm on STL...dang game ppd

Chi. White Sox/Oakland 3:35 pm Fulmer (Triggs -- Fulmer, still having real control problems, dunno if his 1.50 ERA in four day appearances (1 start) will help him...yes, Triggs has made some off season adjustments so what we see to start this season is no fluke, and he should do well against these rotten bats, maybe real well...CWS TT under, Oakland -1.5

Kansas City/Toronto 4:07 pm Kennedy (Happ -- Kennedy is off that 1 ER 6 inning start and all, but a 1.50 WHIP too. It could all blow up soon, real soon if these Toro bats are on, but with Donaldson and Morales out, well, he might just have another good outing pounding that zone....Happ doing well with all those Ks working his four-seamer like crazy, should do fine against these rotten bats...I like that big dog number and that under

Washington/N.Y. Mets 7:10 pm Roark (Matz -- Both these guys having their troubles, tho can sometimes pull one out. Roark (4.57 ERA and 4.12 FIP last season) has been working on a new windup, yielding good results, maybe...Assuming one or both be off, and that rotten Nats pen, I'm on the over

Cleveland/Minnesota 7:10 pm Carrasco (Berrios -- Jose Berrios has been very good this season except for a start in 27 degree weather. Today he is pitching 15 minutes (ok, that is driving PR crazy) from his hometown...Minnesota Twins +120!...and that under as Carrasco been on lately (tho * as was vs KC and Detroit) and despite the reputation for this ballpark to be a batter's dream, the MLB numbers playing here do not bear that out.

Philadelphia/Atlanta 7:35 pm Velasquez (McCarthy -- both these starters still working into the swing of things. Velasquez appears to be furthur along this path, but not really, seeing how he relied on mostly one pitch to get the job done last start (esp vs lefties, which he will need here), tho velocity up and hard hit% down. Anyway, that means inconsistencies still, so rather unpredictable here, but thinking Phila in 5.

San Francisco/Arizona 9:40 pm Stratton (Ray -- Stratton turned it around last start, and these Snakes bats do wiff a lot...Ray 5.74 ERA in 3 starts, lots of walks and homers, yep, that's him...San Francisco Giants in 5, let's hope they finally get across home plate some of all those baserunners they put on

Boston/L.A. Angels 10:07 pm Porcello (Skaggs -- Porcello is locked in, with his nice new effective mix of pitches....Skaggs pitching well so far, healthy for once, not going deep tho, with his limited arsenal, with all those walks and hits, ya know he's gonna get pounded hard any day now..with Betts back and Ohtani surely out with that blister, I'm on Boston...

L.A. Dodgers/San Diego 10:10 pm Maeda (Perdomo -- is the good or bad Kenta Maeda gonna show up? Given this line, looks like punters expect the good one. They can guess better than me...Perdomo has quite an upside with his pitches and all those ground balls...thinking one of these guys will be off, esp considering their record vs these opponents, and all the overs of late with these teams, I'm on that over, and that juicy chance of dog coming in to avoid sweep, San Diego Padres +152

Houston/Seattle 10:10 pm Cole (Leake -- Cole doing great with lots of strikes, tho competiton not been the greatest to measure him against...Leake his typical consistent self (going back to last season) but I don't like these homers...the way those Mariners' bats are now, and striking out a lot of late, gotta take Houston -1.5 (-105) hoping those bats show their known potential again in bounceback win
