Kansas City area for who knows how long....
parlay: Anahiem ML , Penguins ML, Columbus +1.5 (1 unit pays 1.79)

Columbus on a roll after Hitch departure, SJ looking forward to tomorrow's game vs Detroit and got Greiss in net tonight.

lighthousehockey blog has nice summary of expectations in today's game, from perspective of Islander's fans:

Other than "any given Sunday," there really is no superficial reason of any sort to expect the Islanders to win this game. Playing the second of back-to-backs, adding travel through snow, to face a team that's been waiting at home to recover from two weekend road losses. Plus the small matter of a talent mismatch, as well as a special teams disparity (15.6 and 75.6% vs. 16.1 and 82.8%).

But that's why they play the games; that's why Vegas shows little interest in hockey. Maybe a goalie -- be he Dwayne Roloson or Rick DiPietro -- stands on his head. Maybe Matt Martin's presence in front of the net enables the Islanders powerplay to score on one-man advantages as well as two-man ones. Maybe last night's last-minute comeback and shootout win creates the good vibes needed to inspire a heroic effort. Certainly the Islanders have played the defending Stanley Cup champions well this season. Hope springs eternal.

1-0 yesterday +1.37 units....NHL season: 83-71-5, +7.79 units...And parlays (3 team or more), 3-1, +6.48 units

Good Luck Everyone! :mj06:

All flat bet 1 unit risk per pic (for example, a +135 pic would pay 1.35 units, a -135 pic would pay 0.74 units, no rounding up or down)....so if up +3.24 units, you'd have a profit of $32.40 if betting unit is $10 flat bet each pic--or up $324 if your betting unit=$100.....Almost never any SU chalk over -160 (I will use high chalk in parlays, and I grade/record the 2-way chalk parlays with my SU pics).
