Pistons are a complete mess right now, that win over miami was more miami not having enough shooters vs a hungry team more than anything. Grant and Zo combinded to miss only 2 shots all game, they destroyed the pistons on the inside, these are two guys that for different reasons have been average at best all year. Now there gonna guard robinson, duncan and rose? Also, when the pistons were winning, stackhouse was passing, well hes back to hes selfish ways of forcing the shots.
And now Rick C has went with a starting lineup of 4 guys who need the ball and 2 terrible defensive players in corliss and atkins. Parker will blow by atkins any time he wants, defense will colapse, easy dump off passes, and even when they miss those shots the whole team will be out of position to rebound. This is the main reason they cant rebound, there always out of position to block out because there pgs cant keep anyone out of the lane.
Pistons have lost 7 of 8, and the two things that sa does well are the two things pistons rely on offense, mismatches down low with guys like corliss, who rose can guard, and the 3 pt shot which is the way they were winning early. Not many teams defend the 3 pt stripe better than sa because they can play tight d and know they have the help behind them.
