My Play:
1st HALF PLAY
ILLINOIS -2 5x BIGGY :scared :scared

Wake will come out flat in the 1st qtr, stunned a little bit by the pros on illinois but will prob. make a run in the 2nd half.

GL ALL, Probably have a half time play on also later!

C-guy; glad to see you on my Illini.

See it a little bit differently, though. I think if Illini come out strong, they will roll. I'm thinking more of a back and forth first half with each team trading runs and then Illinois pulling away about halfway through the 2nd half.

Hopefully we're both right and it's a wire to wire Illini victory!

SPIDER - wouldn't pay much attention to that stat. The last time a #1 team came into Champaign was the 1979 MSU team led by Magic . . .and Illinois won (must be the one out of 20). So we're talking 25 years ago. All since then have been on the road, so it's not that surprising that you lose to the #1 team on their home court or on a neutral.

I prefer to look at these crazy stats:
Illini 34-0 last 34 non-conference opponents at home

Illini 66-3 since 2000 overall at home.

Ok cashed 1st half

I really want to play the 2nd half but I can't since i have a wager on illini -4.5

The way i am looking at this I REALLY DO NOT expect Illinois to slow down in this one because the want to Prove to the Country they are number #1 in the country. If it was a different team i would say they would prob. let the backdoor 2nd half play come in but don't see it on this game.

Over would prob. be a good play also!

Guys can't come up w/any good halftimes on ohio state and penn state, but i do have something gonna add.

Indiana has one of the worst teams i have seen in years and I mean years, and it is hard for me to say that being a fan of theirs, but take nc to the bank..

come on buddy, these hoosiers are young.....DJ White and Vaden are going to be very good....AJ Ratliff will be good as well but Davis hasn't been giving him the minutes..... Ewing will come around this year with his 20 extra pounds and Bracey will keep us in games......To say the worst in YEARS.....I think they will be much better then LAST YEARS TEAM! They play VERY GOOD DEFENSE and hopefully as the year goes on will find some offense.....

One things for sure we will see how competitive they will be early with #11 NC tonight, #7 UConn three days later, then #21 ND four days after that....followed by #8 Kentucky, ranked Lousiville....They have to one of the toughest non conference schedules in the country....

Time will tell, IMO....our defense will keep us in games, a slow pace (as the Indiana media has said-Detroit Pistons style ball), young inspired play by some of the frosh, bracey wright, and leaders like Killingsworth in practice are going to surprise some teams.....but next year will be VERY SOLID!

I still believe you will see this team accomplish more then last years!

I know I should not be so critical, but I am a big fan and take it to the heart, and just looked awful the last 2 games against nobody's. I know they have alot of good young talent, but I don't know if they will ever play up to their potential w/Mike Davis as the coach. And I know for sure they are stuck w/him this year and next year cause they are paying old coaches all over the place right now, and can't eat anymore payroll. Hell they fired football coach this morning, long wait...ugh....
