Yesterday and last night were perfect example of what makes this forum great. Plenty of opinions and information for the sole purpose of winning. Great job!

Kind of an odd card tonight. Going with the total system again, I have not posted the total plays for awhile, going to play 3 of them today to win a unit each, just getting my feet wet.

edited Van/Det under-

NYR/LA under 5 1/2 -110
Col/Chic under 5 -110
STl/ANA under 5 -130

good luck- might add a side later

chenker,

I would be very careful of the Van./Det. Keep in mind that Cloutier is on a leave of absence and Skudra is awful. Skudra played last night and word is Alex Auld the call up could start. Auld is a solid goalie from his junior days but in no way is he ready for the NHL. Just a thought and something you might want to watch to for. I like your other totals.

call me stubborn but going with the Sharks again tonight.

IMO when a playoff (qulaity) team gets spanked like the Sharks did last night I look for them to respond with a big effort tonight. I realize they are playing back to back and had to travel after the game, but the game last night was not even close so expect that the Sharks will have something left in their tank tonight. I am playing this one conservatively along with my 3 totals for the day.

San Jose PK -140 140/100

I looked a several games today and am still undecided.

I sort of like WASH -.5, but since they are my team I rarely if ever bet on them. The price is also very high considering the way they have played of late. Not sure how this will impact the team, but 3 new guys starting tonight makes me wary of backing them too. But...as I fan my feeling is if they can't beat the BJs on home ice they should just quit right now.

Also looked at DAL and STL. One thing that bothers me on those is both are on the road coming off road victories last night. Although both are solid choices I am having a hard time backing both of them in that spot. I think I have talked myself out of Dallas though. They gave up 35 shots to a terrible offensive team last night. Belfour is in having rested since being pummeled by STL in an early game on Sunday. My fear is that DAL may look past FLA since they have DET coming up on Saturday afternoon at the Joe in what will probably be a national tv game. Also, I think FLA is .500 since Keenan took over and have won 2 in a row at home.

STL might be good with the way the Ducks have struggled lately and can't score goals. I need to look at that more, but that is the way I am leaning. It is a late game, so I have time and will update when I get home.

Good luck to you guys tonight and keep up the good work everyone.

good luck tonight fellas, sports junkie, i dont think i would bet on dallas tonight, although i dont think they will be looking ahead to detroit. this is a veteran squad and i think guys like muller, verbeek, etc won't let them look ahead, plus they have no reason to look ahead, they are battling to keep pace in the pacific. they historically play very well in the state of florida, only way i see them losing though is luongo standing tall and belfour again struggling. belfour made a few commetns in today's paper regarding the new goalie controversy and once again voiced his displeasure. bottom line is that belfour can say what he wants but turco has shown to be more agile and can leave the crease to take care of pucks. they lost to florida last year in this same spot and luongo was big. also some specualtion that valeri bure will be back in the lineup tonight.

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
I agree on Dallas. Should win. but I just can't figure Belfour out.

Almost no pattern to his play, but he has played worse the more he gets ticked off at other people criticizing his play.
But even that hasn't been real consistent. And you can't 'cap this game tonight without an opinion on how Belfour will do.

Sports Junkie- your never "clogging up the thread" always value your posts and you seem to bring good karma to me so keep them coming.

Almost played The Blues with you and Sam but I am going to just watch and root for your guys......

The Col/CHi under was a bad decision on my part..... hopefully I will go 3-1 tonight....

btw-

I probably would not have played the Sharks if I knew Nabokov was playing the San Jose papers said Kriposoff was the probable tender and I thought he would play because of last nights game. Sutter trying to prove a point that Nabokov is their guy but he has no confidence right now and he is giving up way too many rebounds, in the next couple Sharks games I might play the over and against Nabokov until he gets out of his funk. Hopefully the Sharks will come back in the third............
