Today, Milwaukee is favored by -115, and the total is 8' or 9, depending on where you look.

First off, I like the Brewers to sweep. Milwaukee is finding ways to score, and yesterday, it took an error by Tyler Houston to give the Cubs 4 of their 5 runs. Bere has looked like shit, and the Brewers have beaten the Cubbies every way possible this year. (I believe that yesterday's win was the first for the Brewers in 118 games, when trailing heading into the ninth inning.)

Quevedo is a decent pitcher one day, and a gas can on the fire, the next day. I don't know which one shows up today, but like I said a couple days ago........when one team has anothers number, it is amazing what that can do for both teams, psychologically.

I make the Brewers a good play at 3 units

-----------------------------------

Since Quevedo is prone to giving up some runs, I would lean on the over 8' as a smaller play. 1 unit

At 9, I wouldn't play over. I might consider it at 8.5 but both starters are actually in good form. Despite his record, Bere's last 2 starts were solid and Quevado has had 3 excellent efforts in a row now. Of course Bere could pitch 6 shutout innings and the Cubs pen is perfectly capable of blowing another 4 run lead, like they have the past 2 nights, and sending the game flying over the total.

I agree with not wanting 9

Pay the extra juice, and get the 8'

I think the total is more of an afterthought, than anything else. The solid play is the Brewers.
