got to be quick today running short on time. Will barely have enough time to go behind the garage before I leave:D

anyway playing these:

Calgary (ML) +155 2*
Atlanta +1/2 -120 1*
Montreal +1/2 even

nromally I would turn these to the dog side on a money line but I think a push on a straight bet is a real possibility therefore the half goal.

Also like L.A. tonight but will not play it as it is closed and don't have time to wait for them to open wagering once they decide to play Modano......which they will.
I live in the Dallas area see alot of the stars and they suck at home for a reason. The soft ice in the new American Airlines center slows down the already slow team they have and they have absolutely no leadership. I don't think there is a dumber player in the NHL than Hatcher and I having had spoke to him.....they need to charter a short bus and plane for the boy. H e can't rub two rocks together let alone lead a team, that is why they are so unpredictable. Teams tend to focus more on the road due to lack of distractions. At home is where the chore of ensuring tix are available and ready, talking to friends and neighbors becomes more of an issue than does the game at hand. If a team lacks leadership it shows up in the home records first. Witness teams with strong captains and their home records and better overall play.....This may sound stupid to some but NEVER underestimate the strength of a good captain and team leader. Witness N.J. over Stars in Stanley cup, Avs over Devils, if you take time to watch those series and the one leading to those matchups you will see what I mean.......or maybe you won't and think I am an idiot....either way you will certainly pay more attention to it now:D .....good capping all.....have to go to cbb now

fatdaddy-
boy you love ripping hatcher..while i agree he is not the player he once was, let's just remember he was the captain when they won the cup, something not many other "C"'s out there in the NHL can say...if you think hatcher being the captain is the source of their problem, well i highly disagree. look at the wings they have, that explains a lot, let's look at all the slow-footed d-men also(hatch included)or the ones who turn the puck over repeatedly(zubov) dont get me wrong, i agree that hatcher is on the decline(although his play during this winning streak has improved greatly). i follow this team very closely as well...and yes they are horrible at home which i have mentioned several times, but there are several reasons for this, i dont know the current #'s but through like the first 20 games at home or so, i believe there were only 3 in which the stars held the opposition scoreless in the 1st. that is huge, dallas is not a play from behind team,(as i'm sure you know) they were constantly falling behind at home and getting out of their game..also at reunion arena, the seats were right up on the ice, especially up top where the rowdies could be heard..not anymore, everyone would need to bring a megaphone up top just to make some audible noise--
anyway just a few thoughts of mine, good luck with your plays, i like calg although a lot of people here do too, talk to ya later
