Senators at Penguins

--Ottawa remained tied with New Jersey for the most points in the Eastern Conference by defeating Atlanta on Saturday as a $3.00 home favorite, 3-1.

--The Senators are outscoring the opposition on the road by an average of 2.9 to 2.6 en route to a nifty 15-10-5-0 ledger.

--Pittsburgh snapped a four-game losing skid Saturday by defeating Boston as a $1.80 road underdog, 5-2.

--The Penguins are 12-11-1-2 on their home ice, with the ?under? going 14-8-4.

--These clubs have met once this season (Oct. 30), with the Penguins registering a 4-1 victory as a $1.70 road underdog. The combined five goals dipped ?under? the closing six-goal total.

Rangers at Panthers

--The Rangers had their winless skid reach seven games (0-6-1) with Saturday?s 2-1 loss at Philadelphia. The combined three goals dipped ?under? the closing 5 ?-goal total, ending a string of five straight ?over? games.

--The Rangers had allowed four goals or more in six consecutive games prior to Saturday?s 2-1 setback.

--New York has captured four straight games against the Panthers, including a 2-1 overtime win on Dec. 28 as a $1.05 road underdog in the lone meeting this season.

--Florida began this four-game homestand Saturday by skating to a 4-4 tie with Tampa Bay. The deadlock left the Panthers? home record at a dismal 7-11-6-4.

--The Panthers are getting outscored at National Car Rental Center by an average of 2.9 to 2.1, with the ?under? going 14-11-2.

--The ?over? is 4-1 in Florida?s last five efforts after the ?under? had gone 5-1-2 in its previous eight outings.

--Philadelphia is off Sunday?s 1-0 loss against this same Minnesota team as a $2.20 home favorite. The ?under? is now 8-1 in the Flyers? last nine games, including the last four in a row.

--The Flyers have failed to score more than two goals in eight straight games and have been blanked three times during that span.

--Philadelphia is a sparkling 16-8-4-0 on enemy ice, with the ?under? going a strong 18-9-1.

--Minnesota is 3-1 in its last four games to move within seven points of the Northwest Division-leading Canucks.

--The Wild are outscoring the opposition at Xcel Energy Center by an average of 2.6 to 2.0 en route to a 16-10-3-0 ledger.

Devils at Coyotes

--New Jersey was a sizzling 13-1-1-1 in its last 16 outings prior to Tuesday?s game at Colorado. The Devils had also surrendered two goals or less in seven of their last eight contests.

--The ?over? is 4-1 in New Jersey?s last five overall games and 13-9-3 in 25 road dates.

--The Devils are allowing an average of just 1.9 goals per game on the road on their way to a stellar 14-6-2-3 mark.

--Phoenix dropped its third straight game during Saturday?s 3-1 loss against Dallas as a $1.70 home underdog. The setback lowered the Coyotes? home record to 9-11-5-1.

--The Coyotes are allowing an average of just under three goals (2.9) per game at home, helping the ?over? go 14-7-5 in 26 home dates.

--Phoenix has surrendered three goals or more in four straight outings.
