2-1 yesterday for a +.95 units. Tip off the hat to Benes for a beautifully pitched game in the loss we took. Let's move on quickly to today. Season record goes to 123-106/+8.07 units.

Baltimore -180 over Tampa

I love the Devil Rays (not many people will admit that) but to ask them to beat the Orioles for the 5th time in a row against a guy pitching like Lopez is just too much to ask. He has dominated them to date going 2-0 with a 1.93 ERA, and in truth has dominated just about everyone else too. To date he is 11-3 with a 3.01 ERA on a team that is 7 games below .500, pretty dam impressive. Tampa will send out a guy with 10 career innings pitched in the bigs along with an 0-2 record and a 12.60 ERA. That is not enough to even hope for a win today in my opinion. Even with the team playing better one thing has always been consistant for the Devil Rays this year, the bullpen sucks! I would imagine there is a good chance of seeing plenty of it today too. Lopez, like Pedro is for Boston, Halladay is for Toronto and on and on, has become the stopper of bad streaks for this team. He's the man in Baltimore and tune in if you want to see why.

Arizona -230 over Montreal

Almost embarrassed at laying this much chalk but not if it cashes. :D Seriously I see value here. Arizona is playing good ball. They are 8-2 and are crushing righthanded pitching to a tune of .312 in that time frame. The Expos are 4-6 in their last 10 and are only hitting lefthanded pitching at a clip of .216, not good considering none of them they faced was as good as Johnson. To date for his career the Big Unit is only 1-2 against these Expos so I know he will be motivated tonight to get off that losing record against them. Big Unit + motivation = Profit in my book.

Sorry for the chalk but outside of some small leans don't see much else I want to gamlbe on. See you tomorrow and good luck.
