When was the last time Maddux started 0-3 let alone he wasn't the favorite in a game to beat the Phillies??? Phils couldn't sniff Marquis...expect their struggles to continue in a game which runs will be at a premium.

Red Sox -150 ****

This is borderline chalk but not quite enough to scare off the CapMan...I expect the Sox to bounce back from last night and grab game 2 despite their bullpen woes. Blue Jays didn't show me much in the way of consistency vs. the Yanks.

Jimmy Anderson got lit up like a Cuban Cigar his last start and its hard to imagine the Stros not touching him up early and often. No save situation required tonight boys.

Twins +190 *

Always love this kind of line, play it small today and again tomorrow for the same price and hope for the split. A pretty smart play with a solid Twinkie team that rarely gets swept.

Marlins -130 ***

Trax looked like he needed another stint in the minors last outing, keeping with the trend of rehabbing pitchers coming back strong early in the season, Brown, Benson, Dreifort.....Burnett should dominate if he can throw strikes.
