1-2 yesterday winning the double so just got juiced for the day.
Already played and posted the top 2 in yesterdays thread:
Ball State +6 **
Their point guard is back out of the dog house and their best player in the paint, Matt Kamieniecki is back as well. Buff is off that big win over Kent and Ball may be a tough out at home. May seem to sound absurd about a team thats dropped quite a few straight but the Cards really are an improved lot when all hands are on deck. Just might get a better number later....
CMU -3' ****
BG snatched defeat from the Jaws of victory at home vs Akron on Saturday when they blew a ten pt lead in the 2nd half. That one had to leave a mark. Their guard play is sloppy at best and don't think they will find comfort in facing Keno's run and gun Chipps who seem to be a very legit MAC West contender. BG lacks quality depth but does play super hard for new coach Jans who will soon be on the national radar to get a nice job somewhere.
I'm still on the fence with Akron @ OU. This was recently the most heated rivalry in the MAC but has quieted down a bit since D J Cooper has moved on to play in Europe........Akron has taken 5 of the last six since the Bobcats made a thrilling run to the sweet 16....... A case here where Akron is over achieving and Ohio is struggling, but at home where it used to be impossible for MAC foes to go in and steal one. Now... not so much. Don't know how anybody wouldn't at least take a look at the home dog here. If it gets up to 3 or better I'll likely take the plunge.
I still think Kent St is not as good as their record may indicate. I posted that here before Buffalo kicked the shit out of them Fri night. I like Western a little bit here but they are a bit soft... No play yet will look hard at the total here and I still may play on Western.... watching the number
N Ill and Eastern have some appeal to me as dogs but probably staying away
Later....:0003
