anyone here at mj's from oakland and seen this trevor cahill pitch this yr?
why such an improvement over last year?
last year he was a mediocre 4.50 era and 145 whip
after a bad 1st start
hes been on fire last 4-starts
been fading him last 2-starts and expecting him to revert to last yrs. form. he is due to get hammered. but he just keeps on shutting teams down. maybe balt. will still get to him but it dont look good 1st time thru.
no one is hitting him?
shut texas down twice btb, angels and sfran.
gotta new pitch, mechanics,coaching?
or has he just been lucky?
any insight would help.

Hey kris. The last rangers game they had a dugout cam in between innings with oaks pitching coach and he said cahill worked on his slider and its killing lefties and even righties with an inside and down break. He throws it pretty fast too
