NC St. +9.5 for 4 Units
Teams are supposed to get better as the year goes on, but I just dont see progression with FSU. Its a panick move to go to Maguire at QB. Like they say, when you have two QB's it means you dont have a starter. I think there is zero confidence with the signal callers at FSU and it shows in the way they execute. The last 6 games, FSU has really struggled in 4 of them. They beat UL and SU easily.....struggled with Miami and WF of all teams, then lost to GT and Clemson. NC St. has played well this year going 6-3 and gave Clemson all they could handle a few weeks ago. Pack are coached well and have a solid QB in Brissett.

SU +26.5 - Huge letdown for Clemson here and going on the road. SU always a tough to play. Clemson hasnt blown out teams on the road either. 4 TD's is very tempting!

GT -3.5 on Thursday - VT terrible on the road and always struggle against GT. GT needs to get a few wins down the stretch to get bowl eligible.

Duke -3.5 - Rebound game for them and Pitt off ND game. Value here after the UNC blowout.

Rutgers +9.5 - I know the Knights are pretty bad this year but Huskers are a huge disappointment and off a massive win over MSU now on the road. Number seems low.

Maryland +18 for 5 Units
Terps have played tough since Edsell was fired. Losing to PSU 31-30, Iowa 31-15 and Wisky 31-24. All 3 showing signs that the Terps arent rolling over! Massive look ahead for MSU to Ohio St plus off the emotional game versus the Huskers. Love this spot!

Illinois +17 - Ohio St. is their bowl game! Does OSU look ahead to MSU? Illinois has been very strong at home too.

Texas +7.5 - Horns need this one and next week at TT to get bowl eligible. Balanced attack will cause WV problems.

Bama -7 - Miss St. is far too inconsistent for me and I think if Bama survives that first quarter that they pull away and win by double digits.

WF +27.5 - Set at a key number.....Senior Day for the Irish.....Kelly wants to get other players gametime and when it gets above a 3 TD lead he really tends to get other guys playing time. Every team brings their best versus ND so I can see WF staying inside the number.

Marshall -12 - Under rated team all year with QB Cato graduating, everyone thought they would have a huge drop off, not at all!

I'm making this a play Cap.
This is Marshall's last home game and will be a "blackout" game. It's also the 45th anniversary of the plane crash. Herd still have motivation so I'm betting on a bounce back, they missed about ten FG's vs MTU and i got lucky on that one.
From the Herdzone, coach Holliday:
?We?ve got to go back ? We can?t let one loss beat you twice. We?ve got to go back get ready to play on the anniversary of the (Nov. 14, 1970 plane) crash next Saturday. Love that info......for me that is huge.....teams get up for aspects like this. Cato will be back at Marshall too for this game after his CFL team, Montreal Alouettes didnt make the playoffs. GL buddy!

The Orange will play Clemson tough, they played LSU tough as well at home. Letdown here for Clemson and I can see them starting slow. Looking at playing SU in the 1st half as well.

VT +3.5 for 3 Units - Thursday
Hokies need this one to get one game closer to being bowl eligible for their HC Beamer in his last year. With games at GT, home to UNC and @UVA, I think the UNC game is not one they can win.....needing GT and UVA as wins.

WSU +10.5 for 5 Units -
This wasnt in my initial leans but but the more digging I did on it, the more I liked it. WSU has had a very nice....but quiet season going 6-3 so far. Yes they lost that first game of the year to Portland St.....yikes, but since that 7pt. loss they have only lost 2, by 6 at Cal and by 2 to Stanford at home. That Stanford game they outplayed and outgained the Cardinal but settled for a crazy amount of FG's. They are 3-1 on the road and lets face it their QB Falk is a stud, this sophomore is completing 70% of his passes and his TD/INT ratio is stellar 33/7. We all know HC Leach will keep throwing until the final whistle! Double digits is alot of points for a conference game in which UCLA has been inconsistent as hell! Bruins havent played that well at home, barely beating BYU by 1pt. and CU by 4pts(they were outgained by 150 yards by the Buffs) and got crunched by ASU at home too. Everyone talks about Rosen at QB but this Falk kid at 6'4" has all the tools! If the Cougs manage to beat UCLA, they have CU and UW on deck.....that Portland St. loss could be the difference between a 9 and 10 win season, ugh!

Good luck, VaTech got us started. WSU is great ATS and UCLA has a bunch of guys dinged up, they even burned a redshirt last week, ucla coming off that shutout this should be different with air raid. :toast:

Great point on UCLA injuries, just going through the match up on vegas insider and man their injury list is long! You know they are desperate when they burn a redshirt this late in the year.

syr has looked good early in games, that lsu game was moooons ago for this team.. they are fading faster every wk.. that lsu game not as big as it seems on the surface.. I don't have much respect for lsu and their one dementional qb...... me thinks it a blow out ...dungey will not play..the other guy played against lsu, can't hit a short pass to save his life..

Interesting, thanks for the info. Honestly, that line keeps going up, now at 28.5.....worries me!
