NFL Season Record updated: 73-49-1

I have many leans for this week. Will be playing this one first.

Denver pk (-138)pinny Loss

The Broncos have dominated San Diego at home as of late going 6-0 SU and 4-0-2 ats. Young Phillip has looked incredible this season, but might come back down to earth this week against a dominant Denver defense on the road. Two words...Champ Bailey. (best cover corner in the league) Denver is 6-2-1 ats their last 9 before playing KC and has covered its last 5 night games.

Philly -12 (-117) pinny Loss

I really hate to lay this many points in the NFL. The Eagles have been less than impressive as of late and I was quite surprised to see this opening number. The odds makers must feel Philly will show up on Sunday. With the number 1 offense in the league at home against the number 32 defense in the league, I have no choice but to back McNabb and company. The Eagles generally step it up and play better ball when in the role of a double digit favorite.

Dallas +1.5 (-116) pinny Win

Homer alert ! Seriously, I doubt the Colts will go undefeated this year and this will be a challenge for them on the road. Dallas should be able to take advantage of their poor rushing defense ,that should lead to some nice play action passes down field. Romo has the ability to move the pocket and take off down field if needed. The Cowboys usually play solid defense at home and If they can contain Manning at all, they can win this game. Any given Sunday.... Remember, the Colts have 1 point victories over Tenn & Buffalo. If Tenn,Oak,Tampa Bay, & Miami each have a 2 game win streak this year, it's just a matter of time until Dallas puts one together.

Buffalo +1.5 +116 pinny Win

Ok. The Texans have the Jags number this year. I'll give them that, but this is a below average NFL Team. I think the A-train ,with Willis still out, should run wild against the 27th ranked rush D in the league. The Texans are still trying to figure out who their starting RB is. Buffalo has shown signs of life on the defensive side of the ball as of late and matches up well on Sunday. Was going to play them ML, but got great odds catching the point and a half.

Still looking at a few plays....

Under 52.5 Cincy/NO (-116) pinny Win

Might be on the wrong side here, but one would have to assume both of these defenses got their a** chewed out last week, especially Cincy. They had that that game won if their defense could contain at all. Majority of the public (83%) is in love with this over total. It's getting to be crunch time for the Bengals if they still want to make the playoffs. I expect a much better effort on the defensive side of the ball today.

Green Bay +6.5 (-122) pinny Loss

The Packers have surprised me this season. They have been in just about every game this year with the exception of Chicago & Philly. Not convinced the Pats are as good as advertised. Their victories are against Buffalo twice, Cincy, Miami , the Jets and Minny. It's hard to win on the road in the NFL and a victory for NE today would make it 5 straight. Green Bay on the other hand, has just one home win this season in four attempts. Farve has looked real good lately and the running game is working as well. If the Pack can do anything at all on the defensive side of the ball today, this game could go down to the wire.

NYJ +7 (-133) pinny Loss

The Bears return to the very field they handled the Giants on this past Sunday Night. I would have to think it might be a bit awkward to line up in consecutive weeks on the road at the same venue looking at different jerseys and fans...

The Giants were so beat up on defense last week and couldn't get to the QB. I think we will see a more conservative game plan from Lovie Smith with more of a ground control offense. The Jets are 7-3 ats their past 10 home games.

Under 39 Chi/NYJ (-118) Win

I think Vegas as caught on to the offense of Chicago. Same defense as last year, but they can really move the ball down field. I believe they will have a tougher test this afternoon. Back to back road games at the same venue against a defense that should be able to put some pressure on Grossman.

Tampa Bay -2.5 (-120) Win
Went back and forth on this one. I think Campbell will get a very special welcome to the NFL from the Tampa Bay defense. No Santana Moss or Clinton Portis and a QB making his first start. Banged up secondary to boot. I don't see how anyone could play the Redskins today. Having said all that, they will probably win...Let's hope not. The Skins are just 1-6 ats their past 7 road games.

He did it for Jessica. I still can't believe that. Dude out of EIU starting for the Boys and now getting mad play. He should be 4-0 if it weren't for Vamderjerk (who will be taking up employment for Chuck Knoblock)! Seriously, the dude really sucks now.

Under 44 S.D/Denver (-134) pinny Loss

Gonna take a shot with this one. I think most of the betting public tends to have the " what have you done lately" trend fresh in their minds. After the first few weeks of the season these two & Chicago were considered the best of the best on the defensive side of the ball. What has changed?

Maybe the match ups, but however you cut it....

This is a BIG division game with the best 2 defensive teams going head to head. It would be very hard for me to take the over tonight...

Good Evening Gents...
