NFL Season Record updated: 82-54-1

Hope to keep the mojo going from Thursday. Will start with this play....

St. Louis -5.5 +104 pinny Loss
Think the 49er's come back down to reality this weekend. Revenge mode for the Rams. This team plays faster and quicker to the ball on defense at home. Find it real hard to believe they will lose 6 straight, especially at home. San Fran has been playing lights out and are due for a letdown. I expect an improved effort on the turf for Bulger, Holt and company. If they can contain Gore somewhat, they should be able to cover this number.

I think that the Niners play worse on the road than the Rams play well at home. I'll take the Rams. Even if the spread was 14, I'd still take the Rams.

Well, give credit to Vegas. They bring out the line and everyone and there mother jumps on the Niners except for a select few. Now they move the line to 4.5 so there will still be a ton of people on the Niners but I will buy that half point and get the Rams at 4. I am sorry but the Niners win in Det was NOT convincing at ALL. The win against Minny was pretty ugly as well. Frank Gore beat the depleted Hawks last week with a Career Day. Well, lets actually think about this for a second. The Niners have faced the Injured Backup Hawks, I can't score Lions, and the In a horrible funk Vikings. None of those offences are close to being as strong as the Rams. Rams are horrible at stopping the Run but just look at last week IN SAN FRAN. Gore runs for 212 yards, Wallace throws 3 ints and Seattle still had a chance to win this game. St. Louis is a completely different team at home. San Fran IS getting respect right now, and the Rams just got shutout and have lost 4 games in a row. However, Seattle has by no means locked up the division and if the Rams lose this game they fall 2 games behind the 49ers and LOSE the tiebreaker because the Rams already lost to the Niners earlier this year. Rams come out on FIRE.

Not sure I would , but definitely feel they can win this game by 2 fg's or a td. I do like your confidence though. Good Luck.

Washington +4.5 (-115) Win

I was impressed with Jason Campbell in his debut game. With a start under his belt and coming back home , I expect even a better effort. The return of Santa Moss won't hurt either. It will be a bit harder for Carolina to scheme against Washington with very little film on the youngster.

The Redskins have been profitable at home as of late covering 10 of their past 16 . These two have matched up well against each other over the years with 6 of the 7 meetings being decided by a fg or less.

Atlanta -2.5 (-130) Loss

I think the so said "coach killer"( M.Vick) will have a major chip on his shoulder this weekend. Coach Mora Jr. will do all he can to put the words from the mouth of Daddy out of the press.

The Saints are about ready for their annual fall. I suspect it will continue this week. Vick, not Bush will be the most electric player on the field come Sunday.

Buffalo +3.5 (-121) Win
The Bills get no respect. Sound on defense and now, with Willis back, have a SOLID 1-2 punch at RB. The A-train WILL be used more now that the coaching staff has seen what he can do in this offense. The Jags are one of the AFC's best teams.....AT HOME. Just when you think they have what it takes to go somewhere (after beating the Giants) they come back to reality. I'm not sold on this team until they can win a road game against a quality team. ( and I'm sorry, the Eagles don't qualify).

Minnesota -5.5 (-129) pinny Loss

If the Vikings can't beat this team at home by 2 fg's , they can pack it up for the season. This new head coach is too good and the Cardinals will once again lose on the road in a very tough environment to play. Even if they try the throw on every down as the Pats did, they don't have the defense to stop the Vikings. Zona just 5-13 ats their past 18 road games.

Cleveland +4 (-129) pinny Loss

Quietly, the Browns have been in just about every game as of late. I know Cincy is starting to click on offense, but they still have the worst ranked defense in the league giving up close to 380 ypg. Mr.Frye should be able to find Edwards and company open downfield most of the afternoon. I will buy a point for insurance, but think the Browns have a good chance to pick up a victory at home today.

Oakland + 14.5 (-117) pinny Win

Two touchdowns is alot to give in the NFL. As bad as the Raiders have been , they have only lost 3 games all season by 14 points or more. Aaron Brooks is no Peyton Manning, but he gives that offense another dimension. Justin Fargas is loaded with ability and as been waiting for his chance to shine. I know how good the Chargers are, but they have been letting teams get the jump on them and could have easily lost 2 of their past 3 games.

Bears/Pats Under 39.5(-120) Win

The #1 and #6 defense going head to head today. Both of these teams will try to run on each other. This game will come down to who can make more big plays. I really think the Bears have a shot today, but will stay away from the side. Two hard hitting defenses who have a nose for the football. I think we will see a conservative game plan on offense from both head coaches today.

That's all for now. Have a lean for Eagles/Colts game that I will post closer to kickoff should I play it.

Good Luck today Everyone ...

I'm with you today Mully. Not looking at anything but your picks and following somewhat blindly.

Got my ass handed to me all day yesterday. I even forgot to take ND/USC OVER. I couldn't believe it. I rarely look at totals in college but I loved that one. When kickoff came I realized that I had taken ND but forgot to play the Over.

My site is bad about not putting totals up early in the week, but I put the whole blame on myself.

ND, Nevada, Pitt/L'ville Under (yeah i played THAT one), UNC, NCState, GaTech (pushed)

I won on Wake and FSU and thats about it.
