the Ga./S.C. matchup was hyped as a shakeup maybe they can get the Bulldogs...

not on Fromm's watch......

12:55 Jake Fromm passed to Mecole Hardman to the left for 34 yard touchdown (Rodrigo Blankenship made PAT)............start the 3rd quarter and sit that home crowd down........
:0008

in fact not much shakeup in the it's early it doesn't really matter exit poll

Ga. told all the talking heads today...it's all hype...We are Ga. ...South Carolina and the like don't get the players we get and barring a huge fluke ya ain't beating us or Bama or Auburn and ain't going to Ohio St. and win either..........So........Marshall comes in next week see what you can do with them.

That win could mean the difference for Clemson on Selection Day. A road win against an extremely talented SEC West team will do wonders to separate Clemson from other Power 5 conference champs if Clemson continues to win and gets into a resume battle with another team that doesn't have a nonconference win of that caliber. It's especially important considering how weak the rest of the ACC has looked early ? and how South Carolina lost today.

considering how bad their secondary played and the dumb mistake by the ball carrier from A&M ...........yeah.........

Clemson escapes College Station with a 28-26 win over Texas A&M. The No. 2 Tigers move to 2-0 but had a fight on their hands from Jimbo Fisher's new squad. The Aggies acquitted themselves well and quarterback Kellen Mond kept them in the ballgame by making big play after big play. The Clemson defensive line, spearheaded by Austin Bryant who chased after Mond all night long, eventually prevailed. Kelly Bryant, after trading series with Trevor Lawrence at quarterback, played the entire fourth quarter for Clemson and it will be interesting to see how that situation continues to unfold for the Tigers.

Boise State has a 9% chance to reach the playoff, per ESPN's Playoff Predictor. The Broncos' chances would improve to 19% with a win at Oklahoma State next weekend and would reach 56% if they win out (including Mountain West Championship Game).
